adrenaline mma hdnet

Props: Adrenaline MMA

Quoteworthy:

"We want to be considered one of the top events in the country. In order to compete at that level, we have to have a television deal. This enables us to build a following not only in the cities we hold events, but also with fans around the country."

Adrenaline MMA President and CEO, Monte Cox, details the recent deal with the Mark Cuban-owned HDNet network to broadcast the first three Adrenaline MMA events live. The promotion will stage its debut show at the Sears Center Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., on June 14. To check out the most recent fight card click here.

Maybe if they want to be one of the top events, they should of signed with a network that is available in more than 20% of the homes in this country.

At least Showtime is available no matter what cable service provider your have.

No doubt that its a great channel, but they are not getting as much exposure as they could be. Up until about a year and a half ago, I had Dish Network and had HDnet. When I switched to Comcast, they had HDnet as well. Then about 3 months later, the channel disappears. Trust me. My voice has been heard. lol

so does this mean it’s not gonna be on ppv?

No $hit???

Frankly the card that they’ve talked about
wasn’t anywhere near PPV quality.
There sure have been quite a few MMA PPVs
in the past that weren’t worth being on PPV
and I look forward to that ending someday.
HDnet may be the solution to this someday.

Call Time Warner Cable to get a cable box or go to Sears. get the HD cable box (same price as getting a regular version) it works on regular tv too. you don’t need a hdtv to have hdnet it’s just for better graphics if you preferred, your regular tv might have the the 5 component inputs you may install a 5 wire component from tv to cable as you wish and put on component mode channel. for a true HD experience, get a HDTV included with HDMI wire and install tv to cable box with HDMI wire and go to HDMI mode channel. HDNet channel number is 1692, it will look more realistic and almost like 3-D. I don’t know about Warner Cable in Canada i’m unsure of other any other cable / satellite companies includes HDnet channel. Direct TV don’t have it is all i know. google cable/satellite companies around your area and call and ask them if their cable includes HDnet channel.

Lots of MMA on there. Shaw has it in Winnipeg, not sure about the rest of the country’s providers.

I personally love how much MMA I get on HDNet. There is almost alway a new show every Friday. Some of it is on a very low tier, but it is great to see up-and-commers before they get to the big promotions. Plus you get inside MMA with Bas and Kenny which is an okay show.

Directv Baby!
