Even though I love HUerta, I would like to see Florian win cause I think he would put up a better fight against BJ. The amount of offense in that fight would be epic.

Have you seen Huerta’s fights? They’re always action packed! I hope Roger wins, he is an up-and-coming star you just watch…

i think both fighters are great and i really cant pick a favorite,,, altho for some reason i think Florian would matchup better against Penn than Roger would..

Yea………this fight is going to be fucking sweet. I don’t care what any haters say about Huerta or Florian. I really thought Guida was gonna smash Huerta. But I definatly have much respect for him now. Could be fight of the year.

This will be a great, action packed fight, but neither of them is on BJ’s level. BJ will probably destroy either of them, as long as he keeps training the way he has been, and doesnt slack off with his conditioning just because he’s so much better than them. Something tells me though, that we’ve seen the end of the “out of shape BJ” days. Call me a nuthugger, but the guys a god.

The guy is an MMA god, or i guess since he is living maybe not, but when he is dead he will definitly be a legend and leave a legend behind, as the greatest fighter of all time. CALL ME A HUTHUGGER! Your probably one of the guys that had Pulver, Stevenson, and Sherk winning huh, still stewing over that flying knee huh, live in it, HAHAHA! BJ BJ BJ!!! Dont worry, there will be another band wagon to jump on soon, Florian, Huerta, GSP, dont worry, the band wagons are on their way. BJ BJ BJ!!!

i picked stevenson and sherk to beat BJ. Now he is in the same boat as A. silva for me, I will never bet against either of them again (until BJ fights GSP). I can’t stand BJ but he’s mad skilled.

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 26, 2008 7:44 PM EDT up reply actions

I’ve always thought BJ was the best lb for lb fighters since his win over Hughes in the day, the fact that he fought Machida and gave him a tough fight was absolutely amazing. Since A. Silva’s emergence, that’s the only guy I’d put ahead of BJ on my lb for lb list for the time being.

Now that BJ has got his work ethic down, the only guy that can beat him around his weight is at 170lb with a 15 lb advantage and that’s GSP another top 5 lb for lb fighter on my list. BJ’s head can take a punch like former UFC heavyweight Wesley Correira ‘Cabbage’… GSP cannot stand with BJ, so he’ll have to resort to lay n’ pray tactics again, and that’s a fight GSP will eek’ out with a W.

Don’t get carried away here, BJ at 155 is Elite, anything beyond that, he’s just a real good fighter.

by JV on May 26, 2008 11:10 PM EDT up reply actions

Why would we listen to a guy talk about BJ Penn and what hes capable of when he doesnt know anything about BJ Penn and what hes capable of? Hes a champion at 170 you tool and undefeated at 185 against two Gracies. Stick to GSP or something man, BJ Penn is too much for you to comprehend! How many “just real good fighters” have held two belts in different weight classes Not GSP huh . . . Tell me he isnt #1 contender at 170 after Fitch i guess, but Fitch is nothing to GSP, so tell me he wouldnt be #1 contender at 170 . . . But hes just a real good fighter huh? At least he never lost to Matt Serra LMAO!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 26, 2008 11:41 PM EDT up reply actions

Shaiz, I think its a matter of who has improved the most, anhd in which areas. BJ has improved his biggest flaw, which was his cardio. Even when he was out of shape, he lost a razor thin split decision, a fight which I believe he won. GSP has imroved his wrestling but his standup has probably diminished. It seems that way because we havent seen him land an effective strike since he got KTFO’d by Serra. I know he’s been effective, but he seems afraid to strike anymore, even against Hughes. Also, if he does get hit, he’s done. He has no chin, and no heart. Call me stupid, but no world champion should EVER tap out from strikes, and thats what he did against Serra in the first fight. You don’t see that at the top level, you see it in the minor leagues. We also saw him tapout without even trying to defend an armbar in the first Hughes fight. I know it was ages ago, but it tells alot about his heart and killer instinct. Simply put, there’s been two fights where he just gave the f*ck up.

Such an angry Penn supporter you are Adam. Nobody has begun attacking Penn on his next fight and you’ve already got your dukes up. Penn did a good fight against Sherk, I was impressed and I know he’ll beat the winner of Florian Huerta. Possibly even GSP but I wouldn’t call that one until it approaches, you never know shit can happen. I was disapointed that Sherk didn’t get his ground game going but then again I think he was trying to tire Penn out but Penn wasn’t lying about his cardio. Looking forward to the LW division only getting more exciting from here, it seems Sherk might be fighting again in August maybe even against Edgar. Best of luck to both Penn and Sherk in the division, now that they’ve faced each other I don’t think anyone else will be giving them trouble in that division.

by Smokes on May 28, 2008 4:23 PM EDT up reply actions

LOL Adam, I’ll tell you straight up BJ AINT #1 contender at WW, he LOST his last 2 fights at WW. That’s a far cry from #1 contender LOL. What BJ does at LW is a different story from what he does at WW. You make me laugh when you say “at least BJ never lost to Serra”. Ya, well he NEVER RAPE him either, did he. BJ fought like he always does and eeked out a decision against Serra, GSP had a bad night and then OWEND Serra worse than BJ could ever DREAM of. He also beat Sherk a lot easier than BJ did and GSP is WAAAAAAY better now (even if you can’t see it). GSP will crush BJ. It won’t go to a decision, GSP will finish BJ. Mark my words. I would love to see Serra fight BJ now. Serra’s style could hang with BJ all day long and BJ would only win by decision like he did the first time. If anything Serra has improved more. BJ should have to go through Hughes and Serra first before he starts calling out GSP. 1-2 at WW doesn’t say BJ deserves a shot at GSP.

by The Anomaly on May 26, 2008 4:29 PM EDT up reply actions

Can’t say I agree with you there. I thinkits a very even matchup that will go to a decision. Striking is equal…Wrestling advantage goes to huerta, Submission advantage to florian, but if Alberto Crane couldnt submit Huerta, Florian def wont be able to. Should be a candidate for fight of the year.

by --utaptout-- on May 26, 2008 5:39 PM EDT up reply actions

Agreed but I see Huerta winning this one by TKO. Looking good for fight of the year definetly

by Smokes on May 28, 2008 4:25 PM EDT up reply actions

this is my most anticipated fight of the year! I think if either of them one sidedly destroy the other i would give them a chance against bj. but if it’s a close bout i really bj as keepin his belt. And if one does do the destroying is gonna be huerta, he’s rested and ready to show off his greg jackson training. I like Huerta more but kenny is just so fucking dangerous. it’s a hard one to put money.

I don’t care who wins both are great match up for BJ.

by Ro on May 26, 2008 4:36 PM EDT reply actions

by shamo84 on May 26, 2008 4:39 PM EDT reply actions

Huerta has no signifigant advantages in any aspect of this fight. Florian has the better striking, the better jui-jitsu, and the bigger heart. Huerta’s only edge in this fight is in athleticism and explosiveness. Florian via Unanimous Decision

by DB on May 26, 2008 4:43 PM EDT reply actions

bigger heart? Did you not see Huerta perservear through the Guida fight? I’d say heart is equal in this one.

by --utaptout-- on May 26, 2008 5:41 PM EDT up reply actions

Not to mention Huerta has better way better wrestling (used for position control) and a solid chin, he doesn’t even blink when he gets a straight punch to the face. I also contend that though Florian striking may be better, Huerta has more confidence to just trade blow for blow. I don’t think Florian will win this also I’d rather he didn’t. IMO Huerta would make for a more exciting fight against Penn although Florians fight against Sherk was plenty exciting as well.

by Smokes on May 28, 2008 4:29 PM EDT up reply actions

I think Huerta will beat Florian but wouldn’t mind be proven wrong! BJ will eat both of them :)

by MrAngry on May 26, 2008 4:44 PM EDT reply actions

Neither would last past two rounds with BJ, come on dude! The only person possing a threat to BJ and GSP are they themselves. Besides GSP and BJ there is no real interesting challenge for the belts from 170 and under. No one will beat BJ at 155 and no one will beat GSP at 170 . . . Til Penn moves back up. But Florian, Huerta, Fitch, Koscheck . . . None are on that higher level and none of them will be. From 185 down the only guys that matter are
A.Silva
Dan Henderson
GSP
BJ Penn
(IN NO SPECIFIC ORDER BESIDES WEIGHT)
Thats it, all the other guys should just fight amongst themselves and not waste our PPV time trying to beat these champions when there are too many super fights tht could happen, just do us the favor please!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 26, 2008 4:47 PM EDT reply actions

good call Adam…I think the best decision for Diego or KOS to make would be to drop to 155…theyll never make it in the WW div.

by --utaptout-- on May 26, 2008 5:44 PM EDT up reply actions

There’s no one at 155lb to hang with BJ… however, I think he should whip the winner of the Florian/Huerta, beat 1(Sherk) & 2 contender then move up to 170lb and fight for the title… GSP… If/when BJ loses, stay at 170lbs, there some great matchups for him there.

After a while if there’s an interesting champion at 155lbs, BJ can drop down n’ win a championship fight at 155lbs…again.

by THORAZINE on May 26, 2008 8:07 PM EDT up reply actions

If he beats GSP, he’ll own that division too…

by --utaptout-- on May 26, 2008 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions

BJ will have a much tougher time in the 170lb division, because of his size… there’s a few guys that might be able to bang with him for a round or 2 as well as a few guys that can take BJ down with a well executed takedown shot. 170lbs with BJ in it is a much more interesting/challenging… than BJ at 155lbs.

by THORAZINE on May 26, 2008 11:32 PM EDT up reply actions

I think the only guys that could take BJ down at WW are Fitch (maybe), Kos (most likely), and of course GSP (already has). Once on the ground, Fitch and Kos are dead, even if BJ is on his back. BJ is too good a grappler for them. When GSP gets him down, which he will, it will be interesting to see what happens from there. GSP might want to stop training all that wrestling and start training in some jits. I know he’s a brown belt, but thats not enough against a guy like BJ. The rest of the division is short work for BJ.
P.S. I didnt mention Hughes up there because I dont think theyll ever fight again. Maybe if Hughes loses to Alves and BJ loses to GSP…but astill doubtful.

by --utaptout-- on May 27, 2008 12:23 AM EDT up reply actions

I think I’m the only one who doesn’t like seeing fighters contest for simultaneous belts in differing weight classes. Of course the fights would be exciting. But think how long a division would be held up if somebody had two belts. Lord knows TUF slows one down by 9-10 months.

by chefdaddy on May 27, 2008 7:22 AM EDT up reply actions

If BJ moves up he isn’t going to give up his belt to do it, He’ll just have to lose weight ahead of time for a LW fight. Anyway I like what Adam said about those guys not fighting although there is alot to be said about MMA being any mans game. Shit can go wrong real fast in the MMA look at GSP Serra 1. Exactly anything can happen from a slip up in the ring to problems at home affecting your mentality. Anyway aside from that happening these guys are dominant at their weight class, GSP Penn and Silva. I would actually like to see all of them go up in weight and try their hand at the next level of fighting for each of them. Then anyone who wants a title shot against either of those three guys would have to go through Sherk, Hughes, or Franklin to gain the shot… which I don’t think anyone in the division can beat these guys either but think about the potential of super fights. Penn could go up to face Hughes and he would be the only guy to beat him and face GSP, where GSP would work his way to Franklin and Silva would be working through a very stacked LHW division up to rampage (another P4P top 5). It’ll never happen but keeps the fights very interesting. Although GSP, Penn and Silva could all face one another what other fights would be interesting after that for them?

by Smokes on May 28, 2008 4:38 PM EDT up reply actions

He should vacate the throne at 155, that way if 170 doesn’t work out there’s a title fight for Bj guaranteed

by O damn he got caught on Jun 6, 2008 3:39 PM EDT up reply actions

I’d scratch Hendo from that list and have him move back up to LHW because I don’t see him surviving the spider venom, and there are 100000 matchups in the UFC LHW division! It’s sick how many main cards we’re gonna see with great LHW fights

A few years ago that list might have been Chuck, Franklin and Hughes and all these guys have still proven they can stand the test of time more than the guys you mentioned. I’m not saying the new champs won’t do better ( they probably will),but there is ALWAYS a new kid on the block that is tougher.

by --utaptout-- on May 26, 2008 5:45 PM EDT up reply actions

haha serious, those were the two best consistant fighters that fought that night.

On another note, is this official? Cuz the way BJ keeps talkin about GSP makes it seem like this is not 100%, and Penn is tryin his best to convince Dand and Joe to make Penn adn GSP happen first.

by The Anomaly on May 26, 2008 6:32 PM EDT up reply actions

I have a feeling Fitch is all of the sudden gonna get hurt in training or BJ will wait that one fight out and then move up without fighting the Flo/Rog winner. He should move up officialy and the UFC should make the Flo/Rog fight for the vacant LTWT title for more insentive and action. Meanwhile BJ should move up correctly, no tune up fights though, you dont make a current champion take tune up fights. Period. And if he was to beat GSP and Hughes wins at UFC85 BJ’s first WLWT title defense should be against Hughes before he does anything else. And that anything else includes Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, Shogun, and a few others along with GSP3. Lots to do!!!

Yeah this is the one fight i am most looking forward to this year. These guys will definitely bring it. With that being said I think its a hard fight to pick. Guida is no BJ Penn

LMFAO!

by chefdaddy on May 27, 2008 8:40 AM EDT up reply actions

I don’t think Florian would lose as easily as he did against Sherk. You can’t say that Penn demolished Sherk in an MMA match, but you can say that he did in a kickboxing match. Sherk didn’t utilize any of his strengths (insane wrestling and frantic pace) against Penn like he did against Florian.

Florian has MUCH better stand up than Sherk, so it wouldn’t be that bad of a match. I think it would be a better fight than if BJ fought GSP. GSP is insane and fights at an even more insane pace, which BJ didn’t prove at UFC 84 that he could hang at that pace, simply because there wasnt a high pace to go at.

by Jon on May 26, 2008 9:18 PM EDT reply actions

LMAO!!! At your entire post, laughable, simply laughable man. Why do you think Sherk couldnt get his pace going?!? Why do you think Sherk couldnt use his wresting?!? GSP smashes everyone, Why do you think he couldnt just smash an out of shape BJ?!? These arent choices that these guys make, BJ makes the decisions for them. Period. You want to show cardio and set pace, NOPE! You wont make it to the point of showing cardio. You wanna take me down for GnP, NOPE! Get past my jab first and my take down defense sucka! You wanna lean me up against the fence, lay on top of me to buy time . . . OK, this time, BUT never again GSP, never agin.

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 26, 2008 9:38 PM EDT up reply actions

Sherk didn’t try to take him down, aside from the start. Maybe he wouldn’t have been able to take him down, BJ has great td defense, but we don’t really know.
Sherk never tried to do anything but keep the fight standing, and he was in a severe disadvantage standing. To be fair, he was arguebly at a disadvantage anywhere vrs BJ, but less so on the ground. I don’t think Florian can take BJ either, but he would have more of a chance standing then Sherk did.

I don’t see Penn being able to touch GSP. Penn may have improved since thier last fight, but so has GSP.
Probably would still be an eventful fight though, BJ would go down but he wouldn’t go down as fast as Matt Serra. I’d like to see it.

by ShaiZ on May 26, 2008 10:59 PM EDT up reply actions

JON, SHAIZ… boys, boys… Sherk shot a couple of deep well timed takedowns and was totally unable to take BJ down and I can guarantee u Sherk totally felt it and knew he would exhaust himself out trying. Unsucessful takedowns take a ton of wind out of any fighter, even Sean Sherk. Sherk opted to stand because that was the best alternative… at the end of the 3rd, BJ was explosive and finished off Sherk.

Standup fighting didn’t take a lot out of BJ but absorbing punishment took lot out of Sherk, if there was a 4th or 5th round, the results would have been the same sooner or later. Sherk got handle by argumentively one of the best lb for lb fighters in MMA history… end of story.

by THORAZINE on May 26, 2008 11:56 PM EDT up reply actions

Ya Thorazine.
I’ll admit I don’t like BJ.
But I’m not making any excuses here. That was a one sided fight, I’m unsure if Sherk could take him down with further attempts, it didn’t look promising, and even if he did, it’s probably unlikely he’d have much success on the ground against BJ.
Basically my two main points is:
In a straight striking match Florian has a better chance then Tyranosaurus-arm Sherk, but I still give it to BJ.
And I think, while it would be an interesting fight I give GSP a decisive victory over Penn.

I’d like to see them get Gomi in the UFC to fight Penn. I think that’d be an amazing fight.

by ShaiZ on May 27, 2008 12:58 AM EDT up reply actions

Gomi said “he would like BJ to be his BJJ sensei” after their last fight when Gomi got tooled in every aspect of MMA. But that was in Hawaii and both have changed a lot. Still give it to BJ by a huge margin. I just want to see it cause some people think Gomi is the #1LTWT n the world which is false, hes lucky to be #4 behind Penn, Melendez, and Sherk. Gomi would be good against a lot of UFC LTWTs, Gomi/Guida Gomi/SHerk, Gomi/Florian, Gomi/Huerta, Gomi/Stevenson, Gomi/Any Lighteights i guess but like the rest, BJ is on another level now.

Now that last part is laughable. GSP will take Penn down , when ever, where ever and how ever he wants.

by Gord on May 27, 2008 12:07 AM EDT up reply actions

LoL!! There he is . . . So Gord, how did that flying knee taste . . . Ehhhh, Sherk win, not so much huh LMAO BJ BJ BJ!!!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:12 AM EDT up reply actions

Hey, that wasn’t the first time I was wrong and it won’t be the last. Like I said before, I hope I am wrong so we can see GSP-Penn2. You have to admit that it wasn’t quite the first round destruction like most predicted. I’m still wondering why the fight was stopped, when Sherk had a minute to recover between rounds. Did Sherk say he couldn’t continue,or what?

by Gord on May 27, 2008 12:55 AM EDT up reply actions

Here is what i thought happened: Sherk went out and came back to life instantly but what he saw was a ref standing over him, BJ waving his hands and he didnt hear a bell. So i think Sean thought it was stopped by the ref cause BJ had KO’d him, and then he went and gave BJ a hug thinking it was over but not even knowing he still had a chance since the round had ended in time to save him. When he shrugged his shoulders to BJ it was cause he thought BJ was talking sh*t to the crowd about winning so Sean shrugged like “whatever, i gave it my best man, dont clown me after that battle” And BJ saw the shrug as sherk saying “you got me, yep, its over” Bottom line is Sherk had no idea what just happened, even in the post fight press conference he didnt know how it ended yet . . . It was lucky for him that BJ waived and spoke to the crowd before Seans corner got to him because they would have told Sean he made it to another round and that BJ had KO’d him for a second but he was OK to go on. THEN Sean could have gotten really hurt in the 4th. It was all a bunch of lucky coincidences in Seans favor i think. Unless the knee would have never came, then it would have been anoth round of good slugging on both their parts im sure.

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 1:06 AM EDT up reply actions

And when the ref saw giving BJ the hug he thought sean was saying he couldnt continue . . . It was all seans corner not getting to him in time to let him know it wasnt over yet and sean seeing BJ waiving for a victory (prematurly for sure, but thats BJ, CRAZY!) I think BJ was just saying “this dude out man, he cant even stand and i did KO him but the ref missed it and the bell rang right after so maybe no one noticed it” “But hes done, look at him.” And he said in the ring in the post fight interview “I didnt want to just go on doing that to him ya know, more beatings, it was over” “Sean didnt break, he just got caught” And yes, it was awesome and BJ looked dazed for the first time that i had ever seen with that left in the first, sherks standup is tasty, he should use it more and make himself more appealing to fans, a new start for him with a new style would do him good. He gained my respect just for showing up let alone the battle he gave to the best fighter in the world, well done Sean Sherk. And after looking at him now, i dont think he took roids (knowingly) he looked the same to me, im not a Sherk expert but he looked pretty much the same to me.

Oh adam, f#ckin funny how much you love BJ, but now it seems you think you are Bj “You wanna take me down for GnP, NOPE! Get past my jab first and my take down defense sucka! You wanna lean me up against the fence, lay on top of me to buy time . . .” I love him too and all, but that’s just funny s#it ^

by UFCmn89 on May 27, 2008 9:04 AM EDT up reply actions

Im stupid . . . Ehhh, whatever though, the excitment of it all is too much. Since the Hughes fight ive been waiting for a fight like this ya know. Something that actualy tests where BJ is at and if he is really training the way he says and this fight and the aftermath answered all my Qs and then some, bring on GSPPPPPPPP!!!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:18 PM EDT up reply actions

Sherk tried to take him down twice, one time he tried was in the first 2 seconds, after that, I think he realized he had no choice but to box it out.

Sherk was constently pressing(as was BJ) and throwing strikes left and right without pause, why do you say sherk went at a slower than usual pace? Because he struck it out instead of ground gamed it? Not a very good arguement. Sherk just couldnt take him down anyway.

by The Anomaly on May 26, 2008 11:04 PM EDT up reply actions

I can’t argue with you there. I laughed when everyone was saying Hughes tried to stand with GSP in the second fight. He had no choice, but to stand. Either Sherk is really stupid, or he couldn’t take BJ down. I still think he should’ve tried more, that was his only hope.

by Gord on May 27, 2008 12:14 AM EDT up reply actions

Really lookin forward to this fight, and the winners’ fight against BJ. After Penn finishes the winner of this fight, and GSP handles Fitch….its superfight time. Winner fights A Silva in a catch weight non title fight of the decade.

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 26, 2008 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Adam, its seems like YOU just won the belt!! lmao, seriously though, you should have seen me after BJ KTFO’d Sherk. I lost my damn voice, at least what was left of it after Wandy KTFO’d Jardine! The outcome of UFC 84 is my favorite for any UFC event Ive seen so far. It will however be eclipsed when BJ avenges against GSP and becomes the 2 time WW champ, and Wandy comes back and KO’s Liddell! I know I’m counting my chickens but how AMAZING would that be, especially on the same card?? BJ “The Greatest P4P Fighter in MMA HIstory” Penn. I know its a long name but Id like to hear ol’ Brucey belt that one out! LMAO!!!

by --utaptout-- on May 27, 2008 12:35 AM EDT up reply actions

Hell yea, that is a long one, but bruce always makes it sound snazzy, he’d work something out. Plus all the formers and currents etc, it would be one long intro, BJ might be too gassed to fight by the time the intros over LMAO!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah Bj jabbed his way to victory. But I will give him props. I just personnally don’t like him. But it was my Lyoto comment that someone didn’t like.

by Vette on May 26, 2008 10:25 PM EDT reply actions

yeah he threw alot of jabs but he also threw some multple punch combos.the knee in the face at the end of the 3rd was awesome. i also got censored for saying stuff about lyoto.

by the Levi on May 26, 2008 10:48 PM EDT up reply actions

If BJ does move up to 170 without defending the belt against Florian or Huerta, then imo I believe that If Hughes beats Alves that they need to let Bj and Hughes lock it up for their rubber match to be the # 1 contender. I dont think BJ should be allowed to not defend the belt and move up to another weight class and automatically get a title shot. He should atleast have to have one fight against a quality opponent and get the victory before fighting for the WW strap….

by BJ's#1NutHugger on May 26, 2008 10:52 PM EDT reply actions

Sounds good… and I don’t know here… Adam G. probably has u beat for BJ’s #1 NutHugger title.

by THORAZINE on May 26, 2008 11:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Probably. This guy “BJs#1Nuthugger”, lost a bet to me and had to change his name to BJs#1Nuthugger. If i would have lost i would have had to change mine to Sherks#1Nuthugger LoL, thanks BJ, didnt want to change, these guys are getting to know me as ( (Adam G) ) so lets keep it that way. Ayy Chris, youll have a chance to get your name back in the GSPENN2 fight, how about that, except ill become GSPs#1Nuthugger if BJ loses?? Til then, wear it proudly = )

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:17 AM EDT up reply actions

You might as well change your name now so you can get used to your new name “GSPs#1 Nuthugger”. Adam you shouldn’t get so cocky, because although you were right about BJ winning, you were wrong about many of the details and next time you are wrong (GSP- Penn 2) these guys will take it easier on you. I got to admit though, you can take it as well as dish it out.

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:44 AM EDT up reply actions

Sounds good, ill keep that name on my lips so i can get use to it, but not til Penn goes down will i actualy change it but this is what i think im going with for you . . . ready . . . “BJsMyBabyDaddy!” HAHAHA! Not for sure yet but its what im leaning towards LoL!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Adam is the reighing, undefeated, undisputed and P4P best of that title.

by Gord on May 27, 2008 12:22 AM EDT up reply actions

Ill wear this belt proudly, you wear that flying knee just as proudly ok Gord . . . Sherk win, LoL!

by ( (Adam G) ) on May 27, 2008 12:27 AM EDT up reply actions

Hey Adam, why don’t we make a similar bet, with our names for the GSP-Penn2 fight. I wouldn’t have made this bet for Sherk, because ,well he’s Sherk, not GSP. You can even pick what we change them to.

by Gord on May 27, 2008 1:09 AM EDT up reply actions

DEAL YO! Let me think on some names for ya, since BJs#1nuthugger is taken. You are welcome to choose mine . . . If BJ does lose, whichever name is the best and most belittling that makes you two laugh the most between you and Chris (BJ’s#1Nuthugger) is the one ill use (since i hope he takes the rebet on the GSPENN2 fight also), you two can even colaberate on one “Super Name” LoL, but yea im down for sure . . . Hmmmmm, from Gord to what, that is the question???? Maybe BJPENNsLoveSlave LMAO!! OR CrouchingTigerHiddenBJ, maybe even BJsManCrush . . . come up with something good cause you know im gonna LoL

Its cause everything you write says “F*ck all you guys, You’re all b*tches!, BJ BJ BJ, F*ck you and F*ck you and F*ck YOU!!! B*tches!! Go BJ!” So of course your comments get moderated and now they probably are like whos this, oh, Westside/Oahu, delete it, its no good. They probably dont even read your sh*t anymore man, too much swearing and name calling at other posters opinions. Although i do enjoy reading what does make it to the screen, its just hard on the eyes sometimes. Regardless, i hope you enjoy my love letters, that was clever Westside! LMAO!

sherk tried for the takedown at the first 2 seconds of the first round. he wanted the fight on the ground. but BJ easily stuffed it. from then on… sherk didn’t even go for the takedown because BJ never put his body in a position where sherk could grab onto it. sherk finally thought “fuck it, i’ll just keep it standing”

You got me on that one.I should cut down on the language. I start out all cool & stuff but then other people start talking shit, and I get pissed, then I just start saying all kinds of shit. Have none of you actually watched Huerta fight?
It seems you’re all so blinded by the bright light shining from BJ’s belt to open your eyes fully.

Roger will crush KenFlo.
Then Roger will either shock the world and finish BJ in the first via Ground and Pound, or we’ll see it go to decision where 1 of two things will happen: If BJ comes in well-rested with good conditioning, he’ll barely pull off the W with a split. If he isn’t in tip-top shape, and actually stands up with Roger and his relentless attack pace for a couple rounds, he’ll tire out and lose the decision to Roger.

Don’t get me wrong, I give all due respect to Florian AND BJ PENN, in fact, they are both amazing fighters, I just don’t really think BJ has done enough to idolize him just yet.
Who knows, maybe he is Jesus’ second coming, but, I’ll have to see it to believe it, and he has to completely dominate “El Matador” before I’m believing a fucking thing…

Go ahead, flame away, I know most of you nut-huggers will and I’m ready for it, but please, PLEASE, PPLLEEAASSSSEEE don’t you dare get upset when I come back after the fight and say “I hate to say I told you so.”

Fire-suit, ON!
Flametime nut-cuppers, have fun with that.

lol.

r u for real Battle Royale?? Huerta?? who barley got passed Guida!!! who has he fought?? no one!! the ? should be have u seen any one take bj down in the 1st round?? no not even machida could.. so for GnP in the 1st good luck… and even if he did u cant overwhelm him u have to tire him out.. he uses his legs like arms, defends well. if he did get taken down his bjj is to much for huerta. hell reverse it take the back and finish like he did Hughes,Pulver,Stevenson..
so the ? should be do u even WATCH the UFC or r u a NEW COMMER??

by LOCAL BOI on Jun 11, 2008 12:04 AM EDT up reply actions

that fight wont go the distance w/huerta bj will finish him.. he needs maybe 4-5 more fights then it would be 1 hell of a fight..
