Roger Huerta mother can defend a choke ...

Props: SportsIllustrated.com
... not really, but "El Matador" and his madre were featured in a picture gallery over the weekend -- along with several other top pro athletes -- to celebrate Mother's Day.
Better late than never.

Wow, SI really loves giving Huerta free publicity.

This publicity only helps the sport, I can tell you first-hand a lot of mexican audience is picking up on Huerta and MMA.

but obviously, you’re not picking up on proper grammar

I didn’t know there was a grammar cop on duty, by the way, learn to capitalize. Make sure to get that foot out of your mouth, too.

There are a handful of guys who aren’t well-known to mainstream crowds like Liddell and Couture are but are definitely worth promoting. Huerta has a great story and is a great fighter. Combine that with being handsome and well-educated and you get a guy that Dana would love to have front and center of the UFC. Florian also fits that bill.

Tribal tattoos..what a fad! If you’re going to get ink, get ink that means something to you, something that will mean something to you 30 years down the road. Weird lines all over you because they look cool just end up being lame when no one cares for that anymore. At least his right forearm has something that looks meaningful.
The tribal tat will become a fad just like the barbed wire tattoo around the bicep. Notice how no one is walking around with one of those anymore, because they have since covered it up.

I agree, there are fads, but sometimes, and hopefully always, you get one because you like it. Maybe he simply liked it.
It looks good.

That, my friend, was Wildman. And it’s not even close to the stupidest thing he’s ever said on here. Check out his fight on youtube. If you need a good laugh, that is.

But where’s the punctuation po-po?
I see glaring errors….I think I need to go get deputized….or maybe I just think that nitpicking people for their lack of giving-a-fuck when it come to posting a comment on a blog site is one of the lamest, most pathetic and empty/transparently-trying-to-be-funny bits of asshattery around.
Tattoo police too….although I kind of have to agree about that one…barbed wire and tribal is out, but it will be back, then Roger will feel smart.
Tattoo’s are a bit more than a fad…….I’d have to go ask one of the maori’s on my work site here, but I’m pretty sure peopler have been inking themselves for a thousand years or so…..persistent fad, ain’t it?

The tribal tat on his arm actually does mean something very special to him so stop acting like you really know anything about these athletes just because you see pics of them, watch them on TV and read bio updates about the parts of thier life they happen to decide to share with the press and public. Have you ever sat down and asked him if and what it means to him, no didnt think so, doubt you have ever even met him, your just like all the people who buy People mag and call celebrities by nicknames and crap like they are friends of yours. The tat has a heart shape in the middle of it under his shoulder and it simbolizes his strong heart is protected, thus all the tribal around the heart. So now go tell people about that as if you heard it from him.
