wht you edit me mania? these two morons have nothing credible or worthy to say! Man I wish I could write what I wanted (like 90% of the other guys get to do)
by kevin on May 9, 2008 5:31 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Because calling people morons is not relevant nor is it credible, either. Get it?
by MMAmania on May 9, 2008 5:36 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I get that, you’re right, but I read shit on a daily basis that is 10x worse and more offensive than ANYTHING i’ve ever written. And a lot of (relevant) rebuttles are mysteriously left off when I reply to comments about my comments. I think I’ve proven to be a “good boy” and not talk too much shit, and contribute good thoughts as well as “front page material” does that earn any respect?
by kevin on May 9, 2008 5:42 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
And writing “great video mania” is credible and worthy? Who is the moron? Lighten up smart guy.
by bnf on May 9, 2008 5:56 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Kevin before you start calling names come up with something more profound than “great video mania.” I can’t watch the video at work so I joked about Mania’s spelling, lighten up!
by bnf on May 9, 2008 6:18 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
you guys are obviously morons, thats the whole point, they edited my whole post except “good video mania”
by kevin on May 9, 2008 6:59 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Kevin, I’m sure the rest of your comment that was edited was full of tons of insight, like talking s*%#. Shut up you douche.

Too bad he doesnt have a g at the end of his last name. It’s Irvin … not Irving. So shame on you, too. But thanks for the heads up.

Hey Mania,
How old is the sandman?
How is Irving’s ground game? I have seen him fight numerous times but for some reason I cant recall his ground game…I am having a Brain Fart..maybe its because he has been inactive, but I really cant recall any of his ground fights.
Can anyone recall any fights that he had to do extended ground work? I just want to know so I can go back and watch them again….I have pretty much made up my mind about UFC 84’s betting picks, now I want to start analyzing the UFC 85 card, but since the card changes from day to day, who knows what the card will look like by June 7th.

It’s good to see that he’s training seriously. After his couple of flash KO’s and his injuries, there are probably many doubters; I for one think he’s gonna rip some Sugar.

i like james he’s no only from my hometown (same as urijah faber, and tyson griffin haha) but he’s almost always on a highlight reel, i hope he wins because if rashad wins it’ll probably be the most boring fight in history..
by randy murders on May 9, 2008 5:44 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
It sounds like he has just fought a lot in a relatively small amount of time (which might explain some of his early losses) and might still have a lot of room for improvement. I think that a lot of fighters out there just kind of plateau with their skill level but the best fighters are able to just keep improving. I like Rich Franklin a lot but I think he has kind of stopped improving, so has Matt Hughes. Irvin could be a force if he keeps improving. I know MMA math doesn’t work but his win over Alexander kind of puts him right up in the mix with Jardine and Liddel.
by PEZ on May 9, 2008 5:52 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Matt Huges’s stand up is still improving, it was just that bad to begin. And he doesn’t train much, he’s a wrestler in an mma world. I kinda agree with franklin though
by kevin on May 9, 2008 5:56 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I agree, I could see Irvin being a force in the years to come.

well he had a quick ko in that fight that doesnt really put him up there he lost to thiago silva with an injury but that doesnt count! stephan bonnar beat him with a kimura not too long ago! if he wins now though it would really help him get up there! and d love if he won cause rashad can be very boring! or if rashad decided to look more entertaining id love that too

He’ll have to work the take down defence! Rampage Jackson said Irvin hits the hardest in the light heavy division

I pick Sandman in this fight.
Rashad hasn’t impressed me since that leg-kick-KO over Salmon.
Would love to see a ‘W’ for Irvin then a possible match-up with either Thiago Silva or Matt Hamill would be nice.
by Cool Hand Chad on May 9, 2008 8:11 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
even the leg kick didnt impress me either. Rashad is a powerfull dude with his tactics on the right place but somehow his style doesnt bring me in the mood to rly want to watch him. The man is undeafeted though. Who said pushing buttons constantly without any order cant give u a win in a match :P (streetfighter syndrom)

I hope he smashes Evans. Someone needs to, might as well be him.

You guys are giving Irvin to much credit, Reshad is stud wrestler and will use these skill in this fight, just like every fight. You will see, Reshad take Irvin down at will and lay on him until everyone in the building falls asleep. I am hoping Irvin comes out with another flying knee and put Reshad out for 3 days. I can not watch another Reshad vs. Tito, Bisping, Bonner, and the big dude from TUF (can’t remember his name). Reshad is BAD for the UFC and he is unmarketable to the fans!
I like Irvin and I hope he spraws his ASS OFF in this fight and is a high kick king in UFC 85!
WAR IRVIN!!!!

Mania – are you restricting certain individuals from posting? It seems my last couple posts have never made the list. Am I on the “Black Balled” list or something?
Just wondering??

Not that I know of. People need to understand that we have several filters set up, as well as a SPAM folder. Sometimes it takes a little time to get through every one that gets flagged … and there are a lot. We can do upwards of 1,000 comments per day — some good ones get trapped and some bad ones don’t. It’s not an exact science but we try and keep it as civil as possible around here. Just have some patience … and if you notice that it’s a recurring problem, just shoot us an email.

The man that knocks out Assassins in his sleep. Houston is going to thank this man for his awesome reality check.

The best flying knee and superman punch ever done belongs to James Irvin. Now, he has to work on beating David Loiseau for the best spinning back kick and Anderson Silva for best elbow lol.
