UFC President Dana White is featured on the cover of Mens Fitness magazine this month, detailing his personal workout routine. Before preparing for the cover shoot, according to the article, "White weighed 217 pounds. By cycling his carb intake and intensifying his workouts, he dropped over 20 pounds in four weeks, weiging in at 196 on the day of the shoot."

I know huh, 18 or 19 and in title contention isnt a bad way to stat your career. And he’s only looked better as time has gone on. Before the Kurt Pelly W Nate wasnt my cup of tea but now i give ‘em a chance before i count him out against anybody. Know where i can find some Hallman fights? He’s on both my ROTR DVD’s and ive seen him choke out Hughes once i think, looking for the second one and any other worthy fights of his, let me know bro, thanks again. Ill check that myfightvideo website in a bit to see what they got of the Superman.

you got me on hallman. im not sure where to find him. he caught hughes early in his career and would have been no match for him in hughes prime. and this is coming from someone who cant stan hughes.

No problem: I love that website, and it gets updated with new fights pretty often. Theres all kinds of Anderson Silva Vale Tudo fights on that site that are pretty interesting as well.
The “other rings” section of the site is interesting and it provides some awesome matches I never even knew took place!
The day after an event, that site usually provides many un-aired fights, so I always try to check it out the day after a major event. keep in mind, those fights get taken off quickly, so if you want to see them, get to that site the day after an event.

I need to work out, 20 pounds in four weeks is about right. I haven’t worked in 6 weeks and gained about 15, the only thing keeping it down is skateboarding with my son. I may have to go grab the magazine to get some tips. I wanted to get this in early, in about an hour there will be 100 negative Dana hate posts!..
have fun guys, just remember who brought mma to the mainstream, love em or hate em, he’s good for the sport. He needs to resign AA and try to get Fedor/Randy signed (once fedor/Timmy falls apart, and he will resign Tito just on star power (which equals $$) alone!!

I got the first UFC edition of Men’s Fitness with Hughes/Serra on the cover. Those workouts if you follow them, work very well, and I already was in good shape, that put me in great shape. Good stuff man.

He’s a tough smart crafty pencil pushing businessman. Tito and him weren’t going to FIGHT MMA they were going to BOX with big cushy gloves. We also know Tito has some of the worst hands in the MMA game any ex-boxer could whup him in BOXING.
I don’t hate White, I like him and appreciate him regardless of right or wrong decisions… and ‘acknowledging’ it’s a mens fitness magazine and they ask him to do all kinds of posing and this is what they came up with.
It just reminded me of when he said he wanted to head butt Hendo!… seriously… if Hendo would have said, “I’ll rip Dana’s head off and stuff it in his suit case” Hendo would be justified. Of course, Dana being the man with the contracts, Hendo did the wise thing and said nothing. Can u imagine if Hendo did say something like that, how White would have started to fuck with him on the business end?
Be real, don’t act like an MMA Fighter, unless u walk the talk.

i agree dana isn’t ur average pencil pusher. he’s the kid of guy that doesn’t back down from anyone. he was totally prepared to fight tito. shaw wouldn’t fight any of his fighters. dana is the kind of guy needed to run an organization like ufc. i know there’s alot of dana haters, but i respect the man.

If you’ve followed this MMA thread n’ replies, u’d realize how much credit was given to Dana for ‘FIGHTING’ Ortiz… hence’ clearing the air… and clarifying that White does not deserve that much credit because he was willing to ‘BOX’ Ortiz.
You’re right’’’ boxing match is still a fight, but the definition of ‘fight’ in it’s PUREST MEANING in sports is already being redefined by MMA.
