Mirko Cro Cop -- the Pride FC 2006 Open Weight Grand Prix Champion and three-fight UFC veteran -- today held a live chat with fans over at MMA-ID.com.
He answered a ton of questions, including his plan to compete twice more under the DREAM banner and return to the Octagon to avenge losses to Gabriel Gonzaga and Cheick Kongo. In addition, the Croatian is set on rematching Fedor Emelianenko on New Year's Eve -- regardless of the promotion.
Cro Cop also shared his "positive" thoughts on the creepy Jean Claude Van Damme, his Indiana Jones complex (he hates snakes), his favorite movie ("HEAT"), as well as dares a chat participant who calls him a "pussy" to "come and say that in front of" him.

I have every confidence Cro Cop has his eye on the tiger these days. That nasal surgery seemed to sorta transform him, now that he can breath properly. It’ll be interesting to see how he does. Here’s hoping he’s working on his BJJ. His bottom ground game is his biggest weakness.

I still believe he is past his prime and will never beat a seasoned UFC vet. The competition in Japan is inferior to America’s, I don’t ever see him doing well over here. Stay in Japan and live out the last remaining fights with those cans!

The best Mirko Ive ever seen was his fight in 2006 against Silva. I know Silva was the smaller fighter but thats not the point. Mirko was at the top of his game he was super aggresive even more than usuall.
He threw left hand bombs within the first 25 seconds of the fight compare that to not throwing a single punch other than a one flicking jab for almost 2 f**king minutes of the gonzaga fight.
His counter striking and footwork were unbelievable in that fight It wouldnt have mattered who was in front of him that night if it wasnt silva he still would have won. Mirko needs to go for broke and swing for the fences and forget the conservative feel out my opponent and let him dictate the pace style that has hurt his reputation.

of all the questions you could ask crocop, why would you ask him about sausages?! (ie: “Leafy meat/cheese-pie or sausages (”cevapi")?").
what about the question we all want answered: ‘hey crocop do you juice or what?!’ not one person asked that (of course hes not gonna admit if he did…but it wouldve been nice to see his reaction). although someone did ask if he ever smoked…he said no…sounds good to me!

You have Rampage ranked ahead of BJ Penn? Chuck Liddell ahead of Urijah Faber? I don’t think I’ve ever seen Chuck on a Top 10 lb for lb list. Plus, Fedor is the only non-Zuffa fighter you have on your “World Rankings”. There is much more than the UFC out there, especially when it comes to fighters at lower weight classes. This is one of the first lb for lb lists I’ve seen that did not include Gilbert Melendez. Do you know who he is? Have you ever seen him fight?

I could care less about Cro Cop anymore. Until he fights Sergei Kharitonov or Mark Hunt I dont even want to hear what he has to say. Fighting Mizuno was an absolute Joke…It was almost as bad as some of the guys Kimbo fought, only MKirko has been fighting mma for years now, Kimbo is fresh off the streets.

I hate on cro cop because he was once 1 of my favorite fighters and no 1 was happier than I was when he signed with the UFC…since then he has been DISAPOINTING to say the least.
I just think he is broken mentally at this point in his life, and there is nothing I would like to see more then cro cop coming back to the UFC looking like the fighter who terrorized PRIDE. He scarred the Japanease more then Godzilla did back in the day!
I hate because he has looked like crap since winning Pride Absolute Grand Prix….I accept that he is going back to Japan, to try and re group and come back and try to make a run in the UFC…..but fighting chumps like Mizuno is not going to cut it.
I would have rather seen him fight Kimbo then that noodle Mizuno. Personally I cant take him serious until he fights Sergei or man’s up and fights Mark Hunt again, who cased him around the PRIDE ring for 20 minutes and has been dying to fight cro cop again ever since because he wants to knock cro cop out.
Prove yourself against sergie or Hunt (who are both signed to DREAM) and then I will be happy to start singing your praises again.

Jean Claude Van Damme is very creepy to me. Its also very creepy to me that Van Damme, Putin and the Emelianenko are all so close to each other. I mean Putin is former KGB and even though his term ended he created himself a postion of high chanceler (same thing Hitler did) above the president and with veto rule on all decisions made.
Sorry to go off on an un-MMA related topic I just find it so damn creepy that those 4 are so close.
