WHAT??? You are out of your mind. I am by no means a fan of Karo, in fact, I root against him in every one of his fight – I can’t wait to see him get KO’d. But the fact of the matter is that he brings excitement to every one of his fights (except the Gono fight) and has one of the most unique and entertaining styles. Everyone of Karo’s fights have been on the main card of PPV’s or the main event of an UFN. Karo fighting on the main card of a UFN card is actually a step down for him. Any mma fan should be happy that they get to see a Karo fight for free. Especially against an underrated Thiago ALvez who WILL be looking to KO the Heat.

WTF – I think you are insulting a lot of fighters by saying Karo deserves to be PPV only. This card has everything on it from new blood, veterans, guys who have fought for a title (unlike your beloved Karo) fight of the night winners and guys that have pulled off big upsets. Karo is one dimentional with great Judo and no finishing skills.

Man…I hope there’s going to be more than 5 fights televised because that’ll be more commercials than I can bare. It’s a 3 hour telecast!!!
All kidding aside it looks like a great card. Personally I’d pass on a Karo fight as well, I’d rather watch Manny or Clay. I enjoy watching Guida fight. He’s an animal that never stops going forward. I saw his fight with Huerta again yesterday…Every time I watch I hope the result changes but no luck!!!

Again, please re-read my post. I express my dislike of Karo a couple of times in my post. I hate karo as a person but enjoy watching his fights – rooting for him to LOSE.
THE POINT OF MY POST was to say that the original poster is dead wrong. He thinks that Karo should be fighting on the undercard of an UFN??? Karo is a Top 3 WW in the UFC. Why would he be on the undercard of a UFN. Plus, Karo has had Fight of the Year on at least one occasion.

who has karo beat impressivly? lets think really really hard…….. umm nobody!!!! he is boring to watch! i and everybody wants to see fights finished or come on at least a couple! i am going to attach his fighter bio and out of 11 fights in the ufc he has finished 1 !!!! way back when in 2003. – http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=fighter.detail&pid=320
now if you see what i see it says boring!!!!

kimbo Slice’s opponent for the CBS Card:
I hear rumors of 2 opponents for Kimbo at the CBS card:
#1: Ron “H20” Waterman: This would be a great fight for Kimbo because we would get to see how he matches up against a veryy good wrestler. Striker vs. Grappler is what mma was built on, and we have only seen Kimbo face Brawlers so far. I think Waterman would make a great opponent for Kimbo because I would be really impressed if he could stuff Ron’s takedowns and keep the fight standing. Ron Waterman’s game is actually very simular to Jeff Monson. I think this would be the 1st opponent that I would be impressed by Kimbo if he could beat.
#2: Another Brawler, James Thompson. This does littel to show us Kimbo’s progress as an mma fighter. Thompson is the same type of fighter that Kimbo has been facing accept, he is probably a little tougher and he has a lot of mma experience fighting in Cage Rage and PRIDE.
I would prefer to see him face Waterman, but either fighter would be the best opponent he has faced so far.

Apologies. I read it again after my post. I just don’t think it is a step down for Karo. He is under contract to fight in any event, UFN or PPV, televised or not. Top 3 WW? GSP, Fitch, Hughes & KOS IMO are top of the pile at present then maybe Karo. He WAS No1 Contender but isn’t anymore.

Manny Gamburyan really got lost in this event.
Fighters from his season of TUF are all getting big fights but not Manny. I dont really care since Manny has not shown the ability to be exciting except for when he broke Mohr’s leg. But its funny to see all his cast mates get Big Fights while Manny gets Jeff Cox. Think about it:
Nate is fighting Batman
Lauzon (who manny beat) is fighting Florian in the main event
and Maynard is fighting Edgar.
Manny is getting treated like the red headed step child out of the bunch. Maybe that will teach him to stop laying, praying and dry humping his way to wins.

New Quote from Dana white about Fedor and Tim Sylvia:
A quote from UFC President Dana White:
""We want to make the fights the people want to see," White said. “If there is a fight that we can make for him that people really want to see, then we’ll try the best we can to get that done. We’ll see what we can do as far as (signing Emelianenko) goes.”

Wanderlei Silva’s response to Rampage calling him the “Chump Murderer”:
A quote from the blog of Wanderlei Silva:
“i’m always watching out for the comments here (in the blog) and in PVT (portaldovaletudo.com.br). for my surprise i saw that someone changed my nickname from Axe Murderer to Chump Murderer, but what i have to say is that the nickname is only aplied to one person because the only chump i fought was Quinton (Jackson). That’s old history: “who beat forgets and but who get his ass kicked wants revenge”. what i have to say is that this fight is gonna happen again soon, but IS GONNA BE HARD TO HANG HIM ON THE FENCES. i think it’s strange for him to talk like this on the internet because he had a lot of oportunities to talk this to my face when we met in vegas. He said that i dont look to him eye-to-eye, off course I don’t! I don’t like him, i really dont! I think he’s a chump and a idiot. We cant forget to say that he is a tough fighter but i think that fight can happen sooner than everybody imagine, cuz i dont know if he can win his fight against Forrest."

Aleksander Emelianenko gets a new opponent
Source:Mix Fight M-1 – Mixed Martial Arts
Alexander’s opponent’s name is change…againPublish date: March, 28, 2008
Finally one fighter stepped up to accept the challenge and fight against Alexander Emelianenko in a superfight come April, 3. It’s going to be Chute Boxe Academy representative Silvio Santos (5-2) whose height is 189 cm and weight is 115 kg.
What organization in Mix Fight M-1? Is it the new M-1, that dumped Monte Cox and is now owned by Fedor’s manager?

Yeh I’m seeing that now… there are some posters who just don’t get a response anymore…and don’t deserve one.
Constructive debate is good, but when all those knobs come on here and just talk BS they need ignoring, if we respond to them it just makes them think they are in some kind of intelligent debate, something they are probably not capable of

That is very surprising. The kid looks to be a helluva fighter, albeit a mental midget. I like his relentless, push the pace style, however I just can’t get past that blowup he had on TUF. Every year their’s someone who seems to forget that their going to be on national tv (and then highly critiqued on numerous blogs.) Wonder who the nutbag will be this year?
