If a BJ Penn who ate Pork burritos and milkshakes(I watched an interview with him on youtube) during training was able to take an inshape GSP to the brink, more likely than not the rededicated Penn will defeat GSP one day. I like GSP a lot, but I just think that a healthy and focused Penn is too dangerous in all aspects of MMA. LMFAO…do you honestly think that if bj and gsp fought again it would be the same fight..it’s been how many years now..I think we can all agree that gsp has evolved and has improved alot penn however JUST got his fat a** into shape and is 2-2 since 06. Not to mention that both the fighters that he beat aren’t even on gsp’s level..and i know they’re not in WW but their skills hardly come close. GSP is 4-1 since 06 and won against top competition with every guy he beat being in the top 10 prob top 5. And we ALL know that in their fight bj poked gsp in the eye..if you don’t, watch the fight and wait for the replay. He took a beating after the poke in the eye because he couldn’t see. He said that he saw 2 bj penn and couldn’t block any shots..now i don’t like when fighters make excuses(like after the serra fight) but what he says seems to make sense..i mean if you get poked in the eye and you can barely see it would make sense that you can’t block shots. Bj CLEARLY won the first round..but gsp won the other two in my opinion..gsp’s face was messed up after the fight but that was all from the first round. Damage from the first round doesn’t score points in the 2nd and 3rd. If he gassed in the 2nd..then he has worse cardio than my grandma( and she’s 70)If he gassed in the third then he may have had a chance to beat gsp but if he didn’t poke gsp in the eye in the first the first round would have been more fast paced and competitive (on gsp’s part)This makes me believe that had he not poked gsp in the eye, bj would have gassed ALOT sooner..which is sad because he gassed pretty quickly. GSP always sets a fast pace..you have to agree with me on that so if they were to fight for the title and he didn’t finish gsp quickly (which is unlikely) all the new found cardio in the world wouldn’t be able to compare to gsp’s gas tank..it’s one thing training cardio and it’s another thing utilizing it in a fight. None of his exercises or training partners can compare to a real fight. None of them will be trying to hurt him as much as gsp will. GSP is the one who should have gassed in their fight..he was breathing out of his mouth because his nose was filled with blood..Many ppl say gsp couldn’t finish a gassed penn..well penn couldn’t finish a jacked up gsp..(blind in the first round, brathing out of his mouth for the rest of the fight, and we all know an open mouth is more suceptible to knockouts)

I would love to cheer for BJ..and if he wins the sherk fight convincingly i will..just not againt gsp…maybe its cuz i’m loyal to my fellow countryman, cuz gsp looks way better with his shirt off..or because i believe that in a few years he will be concidered without a doubt the best there ever was.(after silva)
I know from experience that when you get lost in the world of twinkies and blunts..you can only come back so much.. not saying that i was a fatass like bj..just to clear that up. At the begining of high school i was VERY smart..they thought about putting me up a grade but i didn’t want to leave my friends..middle way through i decided to slack i.e. get high at lunch, sleep during class, drink whenever i felt like it because i knew i was smart and would do good any way..every semester i missed like 30 days and still got a’s..the teachers were amazed but wondered how well i could have done if i actually studied and gave it my all.. now i’m in university and i get high 80’s low 90’s and i wonder how much better i could have been doing if i didn’t slack for so long..Slacking for so long ensured that i would never live up to my full potential and while me and bj’s situation isn’t completly the same there are similarities..He was able to slack for so long and still perform very well…or good enough..or should i say almost good enough..The point to my story is that after a certain amount of time has passed..you can never get back to where you were..life passes you by..GSP has been constantly improving..and penn just recently got his head back in the game..

We can agree they are the 2 best WW’s in the world and will face each other down the road, because i see them both being title holders after may 24th…or we can bash the one we don’t like… i say BASH more entertaining

Bj also actually lost to GSP. We’ve seen what BJ can do to the worst wounded GSP we have ever seen, that’s right, NOTHING. And patty . . . i give you the points about the moutn open easy ko, but that penn went into that fight not training hard at all im sure (and GSP shouldnt be taken lightly at all) Penn thought GSP was gonna be a cake walk for stupid reasons involing GSP’s first performance against hughes. In the intro Penns like “GSP is coming into a different world” “first mistake etc etc.” He was an over confident, arrogent (and yes, beyond out of shape) BJ Penn. So he learned the hard way that GSP aint a punk. But with the Hughes fight coming to him anyway he still didnt learn the entire lesson. Nowadays, with all these great fighters, all knowing decent BJJ and how to defend it, NO in shape NO win fight, simple. He eats better. trains good enough to have all sorts of fighters wanting to train with him now especially beacause of PennJJ, its the best there is (impossible to train for, unless you fly out to Brazil, and even then they say best in the world for a reason, the world includes Brazil and every Gracie in it) Go to his website, its the standard now and has all his lesson and training videos and him teaching his class, hes put them all up for free like youtube for the world, nice guy huh: )
