Quinton Jackson lands role in Nike commercial

Video Game Awards UFC announcementProps: Sherdog.com

Quoteworthy:

"Quinton Jackson will join LeBron James and other star athletes this weekend in Los Angeles to film a Nike commercial dubbed 'Human Chain'.... The spot, featuring a premise of 'overachieving with victory, getting knocked down and getting back up,' said Jackson's trainer Juanito Ibarra, will be the second Nike ad to showcase a mixed martial artist. Randy Couture (Pictures) became the first in a 1996 spot called 'Scars' that featured close-ups of his famously cauliflowered ears."

Congrats, Rampage ... that's big news and even bigger exposure.

I can not believe that Forrest gets the amount of credit for beating a Shogun who did not step into the ring ready for to fight. I do realize a win is a win, but I do not think Forrest beat the Shogun who was #1. He is in noway, in my mind, number 1 contender.

well done rampage your great for the sport!!

Mania any news on who Liddell will actually be facing in London??

Awesome news! Rampage is the man.

If Rampage can hold that belt and defeat Shogun and Wandi, he will be without a doubt one of the best fighters in the world, and prolly the most marketable in the US. Dude is an animal, funny as hell, and genuine..

you know you may be right in one perspective but as a fighter and as much as we pay as fans to watch thats not forrests fault that he beat shogon the way he did.I respect shogons ability when hes healthy and comes to fight.I may be wrong but didnt shogon already beat page twice? Or was it just once when they fought in pride.

oooo shizz! it don’t get much BIGGER than NIKE!!! wssup with the Rampage Crosstrainer? eh? maybe?

by kama kaze on Mar 5, 2008 10:03 AM EST reply actions

Wandy beat Rampage twice and Shogun beat Rampage once all were bad losses for Page, KO & TKO

by Chadx23 on Mar 5, 2008 11:33 AM EST reply actions

on another note, what does Chuck accomplish by beating Dan? Dan is on a two fight losing streak, not to mention Chuck already beat Wanderlei and Dan lost to Rampage just like Chuck. Dont get me wrong, I would LOVE to see these 2 go at it, but somehow I feel it does no justice for Chuck if he wins this fight.

those losses were before he started traing with Juanito Ibarra
now Rampage is a much better fighter,IMO he wouldnt lose to those guys again esecially in the cage.

i stated before that it would be cool for the ufc to get a nike or addidas sponsership, so this is a close second. im sure if chuck keeps winning he might follow. i think both fighters would be excellent in bud-lite commercials, maybee even at the same time. chuck is cool but rampage is hilarious at times.

ad aboy rampage, represetin mma and the m-town. gotta love the man. i wonder if he will have a nike logo on his shorts. i sure do wish the ufc would come to memphis with rampage in the main event, that bitch would be sold out.

as for chuck vs hendo, that would be cool. i think if he beats wandi, hendo, and shogun there is no doubt that he deserves a title shot

Chuck in a Bud-light commercial would be PERFECT. They can end the commercial by Chuck Lifting up his shirt and showing off his infamous “BEER GUT”…. Priceless!

LOL! John thats a good one, he and Jarinde should do the commercial together….2 rednecks drinking bud light, and them Rapmage can roll up with a Colt 45
