MMAmania.com 'Motivator' winners announced for UFC 82!

And the winner is ... "Henderson" from MMAmania reader Dan.
It certainly wasn't easy, however, judging this contest. We received more than 500 submissions and I looked at every one of them -- it took way longer than I thought it would.
But it was well worth it because there were some good laughs. Below we've put together the winners UFC 82-themed "Motivator" contest.
Thanks to everyone who participated — these were some hilarious (and sometimes cruel) creations. Hopefully we can do something similar real soon.
Congratulations again to the winners. I'll try and track you down, but to make things easier, feel free to email me to find out how to collect your booty.

WTF? Ok on the next contest im just going to think of the most horrible entry with no laughs or thought behind it and submit that cause those are what seem to win. I thought after the caveman winner (which was sooo terrible compared to the other entries) that there might be some well deserved winners this time. #1 isnt bad but really has nothin to do with UFC 82. I mean wow hes going to his normal wieght class. who cares has nothin to do with who has the most “pride” or will win or anything in regards to the actual fight or the event. #2 100% does not deserve to be there. #3 is pretty funny and i think definately beats #2. And the only other one that i think should be noted is the Diego “undercard”.

I liked the “Lay and pray dont do shit against pitbulls” hilarious though not sure how “motivational”, and the UNDERCARD one with Diego..Brilliant

I liked the picks. Thought the first two were pretty good. Personally thought the Hendo one was pretty good. Thought the mud masks pic was….a little odd to say the least. Especially for a couple of fighters. Diego is just friggin weird.

Henderson was the best all round, the picture was great and it made more sense than the rest. But I think the “Plan B” and the Diego Sanchez one were good as well. The rest were weak.

You need to relax. Hopefully MMAMANIA continues to do this sort of thing. You should rethink your reaction to the entries.

Good job to all the winners. I’m defo entering next time, it looks like great fun. I checked out some of the other ones too. A real nightmare to pick a winner. I like how mania balanced out the Arlovski takes there.
Undoubtedly there was a couple of other epics but they didn’t meet the criteria. More of this type of thing please Mania, even if there is no prizes.

People, let’s get some perspective here. It’s a subjective contest judged by a guy giving out some nice prizes. Don’t let it ruin your life if he liked someone elses better than yours.
Anyway, I would love to see more of the entries. I’m sure that there are plenty that would make me laugh and that’s always a good thing. Any chance of posting more?
