UFCs Chuck Liddell 'In the Cage' with some helpless reporter (Video)
Props: KSBY.com
Be sure to check the site above for Part II of this feature -- it apparently aired live last night and should be archived on the site in the near future. As for Liddell, at least he didn't break the dudes leg like Forrest Griffin ... yet.

Liddell vs. Shogun is a wonderful birthday gift! Personally this is one of my “DREAM fights”
I will be pulling for Shogun because I think Rampage beating up on Liddell again would be pointless and i would be very interested to see how Rampage would perform against Shogun, who gave him the worst beating of his life.
Wanderlei beat rampage twice brutally, but those fights were at least competitive. On the other hand Shogun brutally destroyed Rampage in a fight that wasnt even competitive. Rampage vs. Shogun IMO is the best available championship fight out there for Rampage.

You’re so right John, that is one sick fight that the fans need. Still waiting on a few things there tho…
Either way i think the fight will happen, the fans will be calling for it too much. And i think if QRJ and Shogun win their fights then its on… and I think if QRJ loses to Forrest and Shogun loses to Chuck, then they will need to fight to sort out the pecking order…
Man i can see this division just going round and round in circles lol… Will there ever be a clear champion…

Actually the division has the most clarity out of all the divisions. We actually have a Unified champion Rampage, who is still young in his PRIME, working hard and will hold that belt for a long time!

“I didn’t want to embaress them on regional tv.” Pretty good line. This was a nice bit.

….maybe :) I hope so as I like Rampage, but you can’t help but feel he may lose to Shogun or Wandi should they get the chance, then throw Chuck and Forrest into the equasion and I can see this belt changing hands a few more times over the next year or so. The big question mark i suppose is how much has Rampage evolved since his losses to Shogun and Wandi. I think Page would be able to deal with Wandi now better than he did before, and after seeing Chuck defeat Wandi I’m sure that has given Page a psychological boost in that respect. I suppose if he beats Forrest he may get a similar boost in regards to Shogun too. Who know’s this MMA is too un-predictable

I don’t think that it was a smart idea on Hackleman’s part to mention that the reporter needed “22 cc’s of HGH”.

The current Rampage Jackson will not lose to the current Wanderlei Silva or the current Shogun. Rampage has improved by leaps and bounds, and the former Chute Box members can no longer juice up. After hearing all of the rumors over the years, I always thought it was possible, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. But after seeing how they looked in just their first UFC fights, I am convinced that they were juicing.
I see Rampage holding the belt for a good amount of time. He is going to run right throught Forrest. Liddell vs Rampage 3 would be a joke. I think that the most sersious threat to Rampage’s LHW belt right now is Lyoto Machida who DESERVES, but won’t get, a #1 contender bout to face the winner of Rampage/Forrest.

I agree, Machida is Rampage’s biggest threat. It’s like swinging at a ghost when you’re boxing with him, evasive bastard. lol I’ll always pull for Rampage though, he’s my hero especially since he KO’d Liddell.

Yeh I hope you’re right, I would love to see Rampage get his pay back on Wandi and Shogun. I believe he will own Forrest too but this is MMA and so unpredictable, and one thing I am sure of is that Forrest will put his body on the line for the win, so always the chance of a knockout. But if Forrest starts to get the better of Page in stand up his Wrestling should come in to play and again i see a win for Page.
I guess I was just saying that there are a few ways this division can go…It could go as we would expect, or it may just go off…either way still loads of great match-ups

Page’s losses in PRIDE were because he wasn’t training right, he lacked conditioning and Rampage knows it and he has said that the only reason he ever lost was cause of his conditioning and he is dying to destroy Wandi and Shogun. Now that Juanito has got a hold of Rampage, he is a new fighter, he spars with great fighters for the first time in his life.
Forrest fight is pointless IMO. I see Rampage running through him easy!
Rampage is the Kryptonite of the ICEMan so Page vs. Chuck III is pointell.
and as much as I love them Chute Box boys, I dont see anyone Beating Page for a couple of years. That includes Machida!

Yeh the only person i could see beating Page is/was Shogun, but obviously not after his last performance. But if those boys were juicing i think Shogun (Being so young) has the best chance of learning to fight without the juice…
I’m actually so happy Rampage got into this position, when he came over from PRIDE i was so f***in happy/excited just wasn’t sure how he would do in the UFC especially after even he admitted to Octagon nerves, wasn’t happy about them throwing him to Chuck in only his 2nd UFC fight (Bet Chuck asked for that too) but he has come out shinning on the other side… Long live Page

Machida or Thiago Silva IMO would be a serious threat to Rampage’s Title. I guess after Rampage cleans up the entire division these guys may finally get a chance to fight Rampage. Then again Rampage doesn’t defend his title all that much so they may never get a shot. If Houston Alexander wins some fights I think he may be a threat because he is so explosive.

wow this must be the rampage fanboy page. too many good fighters in LHW page won’t hold that title 12 months from now. that is if he fights more than once this year. my pick is forest, late 2nd round submission.

Yea, I will be mad if Rampage wins against Forrest (not because I dont like him) but because then if Chuck wins against Shogun, there will most likely be a Rampage Chuck III which I predict Chuck to lose agian….

Wanderlei will rule the LHW division soon. After he beats Jardine,he’ll take on Chuck for a second time and beat him…after that sky is the limit.

Hah hah!
Seriously guys. Lidell is past it and Shogun is not a LHW?!?!?
Lidell will beat Shogun but i don’t see it meaning a hell of a lot.
Rampage (of course), Thiago Silva, Machida and maybe Griffin are the only true challengers.
Remember this post and then post me back telling me how inciteful i am :-)
Hmmm….this could really come back to bite me……

personally i’d like to see Machida finish some matches for a change before giving him a title shot. but his records shows that he does deserve a title shot eventually. i guess we’ll see how he does in the tito fight and go from there.

Well, he did just choke out Sokoudjou last time out.

Machida vs. Rampage would be a five round war/chess match, most likely. Talk about two different mind sets. On a side note, when I was watching Countdown to UFC 82, I couldn’t help thinking how fun a Spider Silva vs. Cheick Kongo fight would be to watch. Spider’s about 200 lbs. before he cuts weight from what they were saying, so he’s still about 25 lbs. lighter, but what an exciting stand-up fight that would be.
