I wonder if it’s gonna be better than TUF 5? It should be interesting.

What’s the price for posting first?

by ZzFDKzZ on Feb 19, 2008 11:13 PM EST reply actions

People that right ‘first’ are wankers – oh hang on 5th – YAY!

Rampage is funny, but not as funny as Forrest. I hope he wins the belt – how good of a champion will he be – can not wait for that fight.

Forrest is awesome and all, but he’s definitely not the best LHW in the world. Other better fighters just haven’t been performing their best lately. Machida should have gotten this title shot.

150 kids….lmao. Yah dooooooooog! He cracks me up and he sure is honest….he fights to get paid. I am sure he is going to ask for more when his contract is up.

I didnt think he was as funny as he ussually is, I was somewhat dissapointed but oh well, he’s a fighter anyways.

Forrest n’ Rampage get along or not????

I’m sure they will, I’m sure they will both be talkin crap in a funny and non-disrespectful way like they always do. I will watch this season to watch the battle of the jokes, forget the fights, I wanna see these two compete in comedy.

hell with the reality series, I want to see the damn fight! Rampage vs Forrest might be one of the best fights of the year, the Shogun fight was great.

I agree. I think they will keep it professional but will be bustin jokes on each other throughout the whole season. I cant wait. When do u think the actual fight between Forrest vs. Rampage will take place? My guess is early July (around the 4th of July).

I hated how he said he fights for the money. His mind is in the wrong spot. He said he doesn’t want to be known as the greatest fight, he just wants to get paid. I guarantee if you ask GSP the same question he would say the opposite.

So I’m sure GSP would fight for nothing, right?

It is simply stupid to fight for free. Atleast bet some money on yourself, win or lose!

by The 518 Playa on Feb 20, 2008 11:06 AM EST reply actions

pretty much all MMA fighters start out fighting for next to nothing (with the exception of Brock Lesnar of course). when they make it to the big show then im sure money becomes a primary concern. Not everyone can fight into their 40s like Couture.

How do you think Ken Shamrock will fair in his upcoming fight with Robert Berry? I say Berry by 1st round KO!

Joke…Black dude in a horror movie… Hilarious!

I honestly believe he would. The money is mainly second priority for the fighters. Their first priority is to become the best fighter in the world.

I bet Forrest will be a better coach. DAMN! I wish I had cable..

Yeah you’r probably right, i’m sure the UFC set this up to be a big Summer blockbuster event, seeing as how this title fight (like Serra and Hughes) will be built up to the mainstream thru the TUF series, they probably planned it carefully to make the most of it. And what better time than Mid Summer.

by The Anomaly on Feb 20, 2008 1:50 PM EST reply actions

ROFL. How does he come up with this stuff? That guy is hilarious.

by MMARules on Feb 20, 2008 2:03 PM EST reply actions

150 kids ? why do I not feel like that was a joke … Excellent reference to him being black and being one of the first to die in a horror film truely classic Rampage.

by Kevin Kelly on Feb 20, 2008 7:06 PM EST reply actions

He’s real charismatic isn’t he?
How can anyone not love this guy…(well except for the guy he’s pounding on)
He better take Forrest seriously or he’s in for a rude awakening.
Griffen WILL show up in shape with game plan (a) and (b) and © so Rampage better be ready for a all out assault on his title.
I can’t wait for the fireworks to begin…

what a fun easy going guy is ‘page
forrest fight should be great as they are both relentless mofo’s.

quinton has the boxing edge, forrest’s might actually be more able to keep the pace high all the time -his edge if he’s got one here. although that wasnt the best shogun he just kept up the pace with shogun until he won. that much he’ll have to do the same against ‘page. it’s a drag about shogun’s reinjured kneee -frig…
