Snoozefest in the making! Only way I see this being exciting is if it turns out to be a real good ju jitsu grappling match. I have a feeling this fight will suck!

This would be a great fight, if Masvidal can keep it standing he has a great chance of winning, but if Melendez can take it to the ground I think he could overpower him. What do you think of this fight?

This fight might be added to the Frank shamrock vs. Cung Le card.

I’m rooting for Jeremy Horn..but I feel that Nate will pull off a decision victory. Horn had only a fews weeks to train for this fight..I like Horn’s state of mind now..the way he conducts himself and speaks..He isn’t saying that whole.." I’m better him in this..that and a 3rd. Hopefully these two can put out there for us fans to enjoy a good fight.

Too bad about only getting two weeks to train. The guy doesn’t strike me as one who’d be out of shape in the off-season, tho.

I saw this on UFC.com this morning and it has me thinking Horn isn’t in the right frame of mind. He sounds kind of like “well, i need him to make a mistake. i took short notice against a versatile opponent”

I’m thinking much he same on this one. Horn is a classy competitor with all the experience in the world but I still thin Nate will take this one. There probably isn’t a fighter out there that Horn would not fight on short notice.

Im located in Denver CO. Ive seen him train at TKOs off 44th and Wadworth (TapOut guys wnet there too), good guy. Trains hard.

Man, a couple weeks of training that’s it? Has Horn been fighting at all lately or just training/cornering guys? He looks like he aged 10 years since the last time I saw him.

Horn was over-the-hill- three years ago. Easy win for Nate.

I have to disagree, I am really anticipating this fight, and I think both fighters will come out very strong and try to end it early. If Im wrong , then (eff) it.

I hope u r right. I have been bad mouthing this whole event for weeks now. Hopefully all these fights prove me wrong and this becomes the event of the year. However, I remain skeptical.

Man you dont know anything about mma if you think this will be a “snoozefest”. horn and Marquardt are two of the best grapllers in mma and horn is one of the toughest guys in mma.

this wont be the event of the year but it has 3 really good fights.

You are right. I am absolutley clueless about mma. This will be the 1st mma mevent that I have ever watched so please excuse my inability keep up with your knowledge. What I do know is that Jermey Horn is a legend in the sport, but with that status comes the wear and tear from over 100 professional mma matches. Its been a while since horn has looked good. I am a huge fan of horn, but I feel his best days are behind him. I was really looking forward to watching an always improving, YOUNG, Thales Leites whoop on Nate. Now it looks like Nate will ride out a decision win.
