I have no comments on chuck’s book, but i must state how much i loathe opie and anthony. I don’t even know which is which other than one looks overly cocky and walks around with an undeserved sense of accomplishment and the other looks like a subway rat. Their show is terrible.

UFC 82: Obrien vs. Arlovski….Official

“This latest booking solidifies what is easily one of the deepest cards in recent UFC history. However, with 10 rumored bouts featuring some of the UFC’s most recognizable names, at least two of the following four fighters will likely be stuck on the night’s un-televised preliminary card: Arlovski, Cheick Kongo, Josh Koscheck and Diego Sanchez.” – www.mmajunke.com

Is it possibly that an event with a 5 round scheduled title fight could hold 10 total bouts? Since when? Whats Dana doing, trying to impress a girl in Ohio or something? This card is not, how should I say, Danaesque! Odd to say the least

Great interview, not like the typical MMA standard questions. The “bang chicks” line was classic. O&A Party Rock.

superb!! I liked the comment about the poor hijackers gettin on a plane with chuck liddell lol, nice one haha!! so funny jst imagining that, daft idiots gettin ktfo by the iceman on a plane, id rather die than get ktfo from the iceman lol! Seems so cool after his win over wanderlei, think he means business now, and i think its great that he doesnt dodge a guy like rampage that has beat him twice, unlike other guys in the ufc who wont fight certai guys!! And i dnt want to hear how chuck picks his fights, never heard so much rubbish in my life! Go ICEMAN!!!!!! Bonnie SCOTLAND loves ya!!!!!

I have learned the names of 13 out of the 16 fighters on TUF 7 and to be honest with you…I am not impressed by your performance Dana White. he promised better quality of fighters but looking at the records…I am not so sure that will prove to be true.

Out of the 13 fighters I know about…4 of them have decent 7-1, 6-1, 6-0 records

A few fighters have loosing records.

1 guy has never even had pro mma fights yet

2 guys fought in the UFC before…1 fight each and loss

and a couple of the fighters have crappy 4-5, or 2-4 records

One contestant is a good freing of Rampage’s..its actually the guy who got him into mma.

4 of the fighters come from Jorge Gurgel’s camp, one of which I believe is a Marine Sniper who served in Iraq.

So far, nothing special jumps out at me…Lets hope I am wrong!

Funny how he says that fighting in a cage vs ring doesnt make that big a difference….. Guess chucks rather dumb after all.

well he did fight in pride 3 times, so i think he knows what he;s talking about, plus he was refering to strikers, not so much wrestlers/submission artists, who can push up against a cage as opposed to a ring, only link with striking is u can corner sum1 in a ring, harder 2 do in a cage!!

i believe he’s was referring to being ko-ed. think he was trying to say being hit does’nt make a difference.

If he fought in a ring with Wanderlei , under Pride rules, he would have different opinion about ring vs cage.

The ring vs cage is different, but what Chuck meant was, Mirko got Ko’d by a ground guy….with a headkick which is what Mirko specializes in….Chuck fought it the ring, and you dont see him making excuses for losing to Rampage because he was in a ring and a cage, plus, Rampage beat Chuck in the ring and cage, hes just saying its not that BIG of a difference, now if you want to talk about RULES, thats a WHOLE NOTHER STORY.

I am glad to hear Chuck say he wants to fight Rampage again, he must have soem balls, but I honestly dont see him getting past Rampage even if he REALLY wants to take his belt back from Rampage. He may be hoping Forrest wins, that way if Chuck wins his fight in the summer, he can match him for the title. If Rampage wins, I dont see Dana letting Chuck fight Rampage even if he does win his next fight in the summer.

More on the Ring, Chuck fought and KO’d Guy Mezger a good Pride fighter in the ring, and Alistar Overeem KO’d in the ring…and he was a UFC fighter going to Japan to fight in the ring, so I see why Chuck is making the argument. A good fighter will adapt to their surroundings and make the proper adjustments instead of making excuses about a ring or a cage or whatever.

Lets not be quick to forget that Chuck took the worst beating of his entire career inside the Pride ring at the hands of Rampage.
Many people also leave out the part were Alistar was whoopin on chuck, till chuck came back and Ko’ed him.

Dana lost $250,000 betting on chuck agfainst Rampage in Pride…I loved it!

What does Chuck losing to Rampage in the cage have to do with there being enough difference to make the excuse about the cage/ring….Rampage beat Chuck in the Octagon also, Rampage is just better, thats all. You dont see Chuck making the excuse about them not fighting in the ring the 1st time, he just says “he was better than me that day” like always. As far as Alistar, who cares? Chuck KO’d him even if he was getting whopped on at first….have you ever watched Chuck vs Vernon White? Similar situation. Also, Mezger knocked Chuck on his ass in the 1st round and it was a close round. Same thing, Chuck comes back and KO’d him.
