Dana : " I love it when he says that "..I love it when fighters like Manny come out into the octagon and kiss his Dana ring..and says " Dana I’m nothing without you "..It was sort of refreshing on “Fedor Returns”..a classic pride type show..after the fight the fighter’s just grab the mic and speak their peace..Dana helped bring the ufc and mma to espn and stuff..but why ride his d%#*%^$k so hard?? when Manny said that..Goldberg says " you gotta love that kid ". all aboard Dana’s chu chu train.

GSP just looked so much bigger than Hughes. In the fight and in the interview.

lol. Kiss the ring. Talk about a Company Man. The only time I ever hear Hughes speak like a decent Human beings is after his losses, someone should smash his face more often. GSP said he would be entering that fight stronger then ever, and by the way he threw Hughes around, it looks like he was right. How about the beautiful Judo throw? He took Matt for a ride.

Good, well-spoken comments by both men. I’m not a Hughes fan, but give him credit for giving props to Georges. And GSP will most likely dominate Serra just as easily.

yea hughes is a nice guy after an ass-whoopin. he should just hang em up. he’s done, unless of course serra can find a way to beat gsp again, which wont happen. he wont get anymore shots at the belt, maybe hughes should try to fight anderson silva. i remember him saying he wants the 185 belt to but wouldnt fight franklin. let silva beat his ass next…he’ll be really nice after that fight

Oh that judo throw was on time..Hughes looked like his rag doll.

GSP beat the Class into Matt Hughes! lol I loved every minute of it. I think GSP has to become the new face of the UFC. Some of you guys dislike his bland comments, but in GSP you have a well rounded and skilled fighter as they come, who is classy, represents the sport in a great way. You got to love seeing a UFC fighther show up in a suite. He is just a consumate professional who beats people down, and never talks trash. When u r that skilled u dont have to curse and talk trash, his track record promotes itself!

Don’t you mean talentless joke?

Hughes looked so humble in defeat, he’s probably wondering where he goes from here. Hughes just matches us poorly with gsp style wise, he’s like a fish out of the water when he fight’s someone who’s a stronger wrestler than himself. I was very impressed with gsp’s judo throw, he made hughes look bad. Its hard to believe gsp’s last two opponents were koscheck and hughes, I almost had to pinch my self because seeing both those guys helpless on there backs seemed crazy. Both koscheck and hughes had been so dominant throughout there careers and if I didn’t know who they were or seen there previous fights I fight have thought gsp was fighting a beginner or a can.

No, I ment talented. His stand up is sharp and he is as explosive as it gets. He is just an idiot, taunting his opponent in the middle of a figt, and having No submission defense. In today’s well rounded mma, there is no reason any fighter should loose due to a guilotine choke. Lets be real, does any one really think Joe Daddy will be able to finish BJ wit a guilotine? Not a chance! If you cant defend a guilotin or a rear naked choke, then u r in serious trouble. I have seen fighters spend a whole round defending a rear naked choke. For crying out loud, even web footed Sylvia defended couture’s rear naked choke……but Melvin has NO answers for submissions……..He lost to No Love Clementi…what a joke! I was actually happt to see him loose to Rich!

I agree with you there. He is so talented but his lack of respect for his opponent is what hinders him. He is not evolving, he has no submission defence or much offense.

I think everyone in the lightweight division now has his number “when in doubt, choke him out”.

When he humbles himself he will be a great fighter.

to be honest I like it when Hughes says to be honest. I think he’s said that 20 times per interview, tbh.

Matt’s always cool when he’s humbled or even after a fight, it’s the way he treats his fighter’s in his camp that’s not classy, he can be a total tool if he doesn’t like a guy.

GSP’s wearing a suit without a mark on his face like he’s going out on a night in the town. Hughes wearing a sweatshirt and black eye, like a man who just got his ass kicked!

Funny their sitting right next to eachother lol…

Not a Hughes fan but respect is due for what he’s achieved in the sport, the guy was a beast for a long while. GSP is a class act. he shows respect at all times and is a force and a half in the cage. Along with Anderson Silva he’s got to be top lb for lb in the world.

Greast job Georges but you were fighting knowbody, a puss
Matt Hughes should ask Dana to match him with someone more
his speed like KID ROCK but there again Matt would probly
lose that fight too.
Matt Serra would have beat the hell out of Hughes.
Georges should be fighting Matt Serra for the belt…

Because he lost to GSP? So what? He’s probably still number 2 in the entire world in the division.

Matt Hughes is a fantastic fighter. His personality is a little unpolished. In contrast, GSP is a great fighter and is clearly the next evolution in a MMA fighter. And, too boot, he is a pure gentleman.

It is only a matter of time before the next great fighter comes onto the scene and many fight fans will then say less than favourable things about GSP.

That is the nature of the beast in being the best at something. Sooner or later, someone else becomes better.

Both Matts are a joke.. GSP’s a classy and one hell of a fighter. GSP is my fav. for sure and will be for ever, canucks stick together. Anderson Silva kicks ass also, nice nose Franklin.. B.J. Penn sucks,,,HaHa BJ sucks thats funny, but he does,, his after the fight antics look more like WWE shit not like MMA. Love the MMA fights, the action is usually very high paced, besides Nascar it’s the sport for me..
