I thought it was a very fair documentary. I was a little worried that it would try to portray MMA as still a bloodsport that just made it to big time, but it definitely showed the steps that were made to change this perception.

I watched this whole documentary and all I learned about MMA was that the Gracies have an enormous garage.

I would like to watch this it seems OK. I hope they don’t focus on Dana more so than the business itself. Personally I think and have always thought Dana has been good for the UFC, he put his neck out on the line with a “high risk, high reward” attitude, now he is definately reaping that high reward.

Did anybody see Randy Couture’s interview (if you could even call it that)? He’s really starting to show his true colors.

Did anyone pick up the part where..SEG wanted to get the ufc back on cable and went the NSAC..to seek appoval. He said we all felt that things were going our way..till I get a call around midnight saying one of the commisioners has changed his mind and voted against the ufc..and which commisioner was it??? " Lorenzo Ferrtita "..yep.
Not too long after that the owner of SEG gets a call from Dana White saying he has somwone intrested in buying the ufc brand..and he said let me get one guess " Lorenzo Ferrtita "
and Dana said how did you know?

Dana’s message to Randy – “It won’t be the last guy(to leave UFC) …You can’t make everyone happy”
Totally support it

Dana acts like prick. What best for the sport he says?? Well the fans want ? we want to see this fight happen.
Fedor M-1
Randy UFC
M1 has no problem having Fedor fight in the UFC.
UFC HAS A PROBLEM having Fedor fight in the UFC.
So what stands in the way of having this fight happen.
A UFC contract. that in reality doesnt mean shit. Dana terminated Ken Shamrocks UFC contract early..plus Babalu’s so why doesn’t he cut his so called buddy the natural so slack..cuz he wants all the paper for himself. That is selfish and greedy.

I watched this last night, if I had heard about it earlier I would have sent you a heads up Mania. As it was I found out like 2 minutes before it came on.
It was pretty interesting. Alot of it I new already though.
And Jim Lampley(or what ever his name is) is a douche.

Exactly! We need to get a petition going around, get like a million signatures saying we want Fedor vs. Randy Now! or to release Randy from his contract. Then send that sh*t to Dana “The Dr. Evil of MMA” white!!!!

why don’t we get a million signatures for m1 and monte cox to dump fedor’s contract and let fedor sign w/ the ufc like he should have. no offense but you know it should have went down this way and it is by no means dana’s fault.

Yikes. Randy looked like an a-hole -
Not such a great impression for the MMA newbies.

Randy’s body language said it all. He looked extremely bitter, like someone that was treated unfairly. The question is however, was he treated unfairly? What does Couture know that we don’t? What is Dana White not telling us?

From everything I’ve read or heard, I have to side with White on this, unless new information comes available. Couture took and awful approach to try to make a big money fight happen between him and Fedor.

I just saw another Couture interview and he’s waiting to break all ties with UFC in October, now I understand better why he’s so bitter… White is clinging on to the hopes Couture stays with the UFC or somehow he can make that fight happen in the UFC… I think White needs to break down and just say awww’ ‘fuck it’ and cough up a ton of money for the fighters because the UFC will make a ton of money off of it. I know Dana does’t want to make a precedent off this, saying UFC fighters can break their contracts and do whatever they want… he’s trying to make an example out of this situation to keep the other UFC fighters under control. White does have a strong argument, if Fedor wins, he’s not in the UFC, which will hurt the UFC heavyweight division.

Randy’s silence and the bull spewing from dana white on the matter of randy leaving the ufc was correct.
Randy can’t comment or won’t because of possible legal action taken on part of the ufc…cum on you know they would, the reporter was onto d white re r c but then relented…darn it….
why does everyone belittle randy c. he a this hes a that ..cum on look at the ufc the are all about the money so then cuz most of you believe its about the money for randy shouldn’t randy get a little more than cro-cop per fight that he DOMINATES ….the ufc doesnt take care of its fighters look at Andre a. tim s. 89 geeze he took steroids too look at his body then and now and look at his fighting then and now, cabbage would kill tim s now…
dana needs to go and stop acting like he’s done all this or that

wow this is hard for me to say but Right now i am a Dana fan. he was a good rep. for mma and am i shocked by the way randy handled himself. randy was for so long the voice of mma. taking the complex sport that is treated like crap and making it look like the sport of the Gods. i just was very suprised by how withdrawn and shelfish randy acted.
Anyone agree?

Dana’s a very cool dude and Randy has grown so full of himself. The video here is not the whole thing though. Lucky for me, i found a torrent for the whole video. Its pretty good. It really annoyed me when all those dumb boxers bashed the UFC. I also found out that Franklin makes over a million a year just from sponsors.

The ex-owner of UFC said he has no regrets about selling the company, so I don’t see why you internet fanboys can’t get over your conspiracy theories.

Yeah, I don’t know how anybody missed it. I guess they did only touch on it briefly, but still. It looked as if they just put a camera in front of Couture’s face, and rather than saying “no comment” he just acted like he was busy training a fighter. His demeanor showed that he has gotten himself in hot water by previous statements, so now he is just professing his love for the UFC, and touching upon all he wants to do is fight Fedor. He should blame Fedor more than the UFC for that not happening.
