METALLICA “ENTER SANDMAN” DAMMIT, CAUSE HE’S PUTTING CHUCK TO SLEEP AND MAKING HIS NEXT FIGHT NON-TELEVISED. SORRY FOR THE CHUCK FANS BUT ANY OTHER FIGHTER THAT LOSES 3 IN A ROW WOULD EITHER BE NON-TELEVISED OR OUT OF THE UFC. TRUTH HURTS; TIME FOR CHUCK TO EXERCISE HIS ACCOUNTING DEGREE.

Have Lenne Hardt, bring him out with an intro… If you want to do it right… If the fighters really wanted her, Im sure Dana could work something out…

Wanderlei is going to beat chuck. many people think that wanderleis wild and super agressive style will fall right in the hands of a counter punching Liddell. I will have to disagree. In the majority of wanderlei’s fights he has came out like a bat out of hell, bum rushing his opponent, but sometimes getting rocked in the process. Wandy get rocked, but he has some of the quickest recovery time in mma. Also wandy fought so agressive because many of his opponents he knew where no match for him. But if you watch his big fights against dangerous strikers you will see that wanderlei is more than capable of fighting a smart fight, with a gameplan, and dishing out controlled chaos.

Check out when he fought Mirco cro cop at Pride 20 (armed and ready) with modified K-1 rules. Wandy was real calm, he picked and choosed his spots to explode and he took advantage. Now there were no judges for that fight so it was called a draw, but wanderlei clearly won especially since it was so close and he gave up 20 pounds to cro cop.

Also check out when wanderlei fought Mark Hunt at Shockwave. He also had to respect Hunts striking and fought a very smart fight, effective and agressive yet out of control. Wanderlei lost a decision in that fight, but he clearly held his own against an opponent who out weighed him by almost 60 lbs.

When wanderlei fights a guy who’s striking he respects, he is actually a really smart fighter. Who is able to stay agessive but undercontrol. That is the wandy I expect to show up against Liddell. Also wanderlei has fought and beat much better competition that chuck has faced. Combine that with about 15 years of Chute box training and now months of training with Randy couture and his camp and his gameplaning. Put that up against Chuck’s same old routine and I see wanderlie Ko’ing Liddell in the 2nd round.

Posting the link because you can both listen and see the lyrics too it, the lyrics ain’t 100% I can tell but maybe some of you getting the image?

I agree, I think the reason he came out so aggressively with cro cop the second time is that he had to fight a second fight that night, and was trying to finish as quickly as possible to avoid gassing out and injuries. That was a big mistake, but I really feel this is what happened, if he were to fight cro cop outside of a one night tournament, he would have done it differently.

Also, people keep saying that wandy is training with randy, in no where is that written as fact. On wandy’s site it states that he is just using his gym, and he got his own trainers to go to the US from Brazil to help him out. Couture only trained with wandy for 10 days prior to the couture vs gonzaga fight. After that they never trained together again. On top of this, when forrest defeated shogun, wandy wanted to challenge forrest (it was on his site), now how can two athletes from the same camp challenge each other. Let’s face it ppl, wandy is not training with randy, he is just using his gym and using some of their athletes to get ready, but he is not part of extreme couture.

Linx. Randy has moved to Las Vegas. He has been there since september. He has been training with wanderlei…its a fact. Dana made him go train at the UFC training center because he didnt want to film the all acess wanderlei show with him training at Extreme couture because Dana didnt want to give Randy the publicity. More i mportant that his training with Randy, he has been using randy’s coaches. Especially boxing coach (I think its sean Tomkins, and Randy’s strength and conditioning coach.

Wamnderlei will win this fight.

If that is in fact true, than wandy is being a liar, as he specifically mentioned that he is not training with couture nor using his coaches, only using his gym (it was stated on his site). And I don’t take wandy as a lier…

I’ve been watching his Silva’s recent interviews and he seems to be breathing loud. Is it because of being exhaustion, naturally breathes loud, or does he have some sort of bone structure problem with his nose similar to what Crocop had that Crocop had surgery to fix? He probably wouldn’t take a fight unless he’s 100% healthy so I guess he just breathes loud. I’d hate to be in bed with him!

“Flight of the bumblebee”

He should take at least one full pass around the arena running as fast as he can. He should also have midgets, dressed the same as him, running behind him as fast as they could.

That will take Chuck, and the whole world, by surprise. Bring some of the pageantry of Luchadores to the UFC!

OFF THE TOPIC!

just want to share this to you guys on what i saw on shrdog that com, that randy coutuire will fight fedore in october 2008! i hope this will happen..

hirs what i read on shrdog:

In Dallas, Texas, to corner several Xtreme Couture fighters, including middleweight Frank Trigg (Pictures), Randy Couture (Pictures) said he hopes to fight Fedor Emelianenko (Pictures) as early as October 2008.

“Unless the UFC wants to do a co-promotion with M-1 and make the Fedor fight happen, I’m going to have to wait ’til my contract expires,” Couture told HDNet’s Ron Kruck. “I have no intention of breaching that contract; that expires in July. My employment contract expires with them in October. So I would assume the soonest you’d see me fight Emelianenko would be in October.”

Couture gave up his standing as UFC heavyweight champion on Oct. 11 via fax from South Africa, where “The Natural” was on location shooting a feature film. The two-division champion also resigned from his roles as ambassador for the UFC and on-air personality during the promotion’s broadcasts.

While Couture sits on the sidelines for another 10 months, Emelianenko, widely regarded as the No. 1 heavyweight in MMA, will make his live debut on HDNet Fights with a return to the ring on New Year’s Eve against 7-foot-2, 350-pound novice Hong Man Choi

Good news/Bad news! Randy still plans on fighting Fedor/looks like Arlovski is leaving the UFC:

Randy Couture appeared at HDNet Fights on Saturday night and reaffirmed to fans that he will return to fighting, but not in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as he will stay out until his current contract expires and wait for a fight with Fedor Emelianenko.

“I am not retired,” said Couture at the HDNet Fights show in Dallas, Texas. “I am waiting for my UFC contract to expire. I will fight Fedor Emelianenko.”

Couture’s statement will surely come as a shock to many fans who were waiting to see if the current UFC heavyweight champion would return to the Octagon, but it looks as if now he has decided sit out and wait for the dream match-up with Fedor at some point in the future.

Another embattled UFC heavyweight was a guest at the HDNet Fights show, as former champion Andrei Arlovski was present at the show and post fight press conference.

“I will fight very soon,” Arlovski stated about his fight career.

Sources close to the fighter confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that Arlovski is also waiting out his UFC contract which according to them expires in April and at that time the Belarus native will look to move on to another organization.

Also at the show was former UFC and Bodog Fight middleweight contender, Matt “The Law” Lindland who was brought in by the show’s promoters to commentate as a part of the broadcast team.

While no announcement was made towards his future involvement as a fighter for the organization, Lindland’s promotion, SportFight, will be seen on HDNet next Saturday night as a part of the networks extensive mixed martial arts coverage.
