Yeah I saw that on UFC.com. Too bad we will never see the Bisping/Hamil rematch. Thats okay though, he really does belong at middleweight, and lord knows that division needs him. I say give him Franklin. That would be a good match and if he won (he won’t), it would show whether he is ready for someone like Silva.

Sunday, I attended the North American Mixed Martial Arts Expo (NAMMAE). Randy Couture was conducting a technique seminar. When asked for his picks for UFC 79, Couture responded, George St. Pierre over Matt Hughes and Wanderlei Silva over Chuck Liddell. He mentioned Chuck contemplated retirement, but Dana White convinced him otherwise. When asked about Fedor Emelianenko, Couture said he had hoped it could be worked out, perhaps with a joint M-1 Global/UFC sponsored card. I asked Couture if he was unable to fight Fedor, would he look to fight anyone else. He replied, “If I can’t fight Fedor, then I’m content to go out on top”.
I will have more on the NAMMAE later in the week, including an exclusive with Brian Jaus the Chief Executive for NAMMAE.

See he’s not ducking Big Nog, why should he take Fedor’s left overs. I totally agree if the ufc doesn’t let the fight with Fedor happen there will be a lot of disapointed fans and nobody will ever have the answer to who was a better fighter.

Rampage is like an overgrown 5 year old. Complete Legend though. He went round a hotel I was in howling at 4 in the morning until the hotel staff aked him to tone it down a little. Okay so it was the fighter’s hotel and I snook into the lobby to watch them but the story still remains the same.
