Anthony Johnson is rumoured to be fighting Tommy Speer on this fight night also. It is shaping up to be as good as some PPV cards

Yes i am so excited. ufc is finally coming back to denver.

If florian cuts threw Lauzon ill be surprised but if Lauzon beats Florian ill even be more surprised, this could be a fight of the year canidate and were only just starting the year up.

OHHHHHHH BOY

If Sam Stout beats Eklund in UFC 80, and if Sam Stout doesnt fight Fischer (after fischer cuts threw Auriello)!!!!! even though it would be a Fight Night dream Main Event. I would give stout the loser of Florian vs Lauzon, too see how much Stout has really improved ( I think Stout can easily get to the top 5 at 155 if he keeps developing as he is) heavy hands, good chin, good jusitu, good wrestling, and Kickboxing light years above anyone else at 155, you can only keep getting better

Hopefully this is a test for Denver to see if they can support a pay-per-view. I would like to see major support in this area since Denver is the birthplace of the UFC.

Glad I don’t have to pay to see a Tommy Speer “fight”…

Man, looks like a great card so far. I always root for Bonnar but I really like Hammil and hope to see him victorious. Also, Tommy Spear is tough as nails and I want to see him do well, I loved seeing Anthony Johnson KO Chad Reiner. Tough match to chose. I’m guessing Spear by ground and pound, but again I am a fan of both fighters. Alves and Lauzon appear to be the underdogs in there matchups and I hope to see them win as well.

I really want joe to win, he is one of my favorite fighters.

talk about a loaded fight night haha!

i just hope they all end somewhat quickly, i don’t want to miss any due to decisions, it’s funny not only do we get punished by boredom when they go to decision but they also deprive us of the undercards which in this case are pretty stacked, the only i’d be willing to miss would be the tommy speer fight. This last fight night we missed some good matchups.

Any of those fights on the wallpaper can be the main event! Amazing

Looks like they have more great fights than they have time to show. They need to bump one of these to a lackluster PPv that they will probably have.

I think if Edgar keeps winning He will get that BIG match against Huerta and that will be great.

maybe they’ll expand to three hours?
didn’y they used to have three hour fight nights?
i can’t remember…..

3 Hours would be great. I would def love to see every fight on this card. My only question though, is when did UFC Fight Night start meaning UFC Light Weight Night?? The last two have been dominated by Light Weights.

I’m guessing it’s because the LW talent pool is so deep. They want these guys to get TV exposure, but they can’t fit them all on PPV’s.

by metalnick on Jan 25, 2008 5:17 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Anyone else think Nate Diaz should be getting the big fight instead of Lauzon?

by Coontang on Jan 25, 2008 10:16 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Karo is a pussy, he’s afraid of Fitch, I hope he gets knocked out and loses his chances of getting a title shot.

BEAUTIFIL , beautiful card

by belfort_fan on Jan 30, 2008 10:52 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

i don’t like karo, but he’s got some nice judo, wouldn’t call him a pussy exactly.
a bitch maybe…

by creagach on Feb 3, 2008 4:16 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

karo always came in a little lackluster, if he had the will and fight that his cousin manny does , and maybe could cut to 155 (don’t tell me he couldn’t he’s never been super cut).
anyways he’d destroy most lightweights and he’d also naturally have better conditioning @155 then 170 he looks a tad chubby @170.

weird how this is a UFN and it’s one of the best cards I’ve seen.

by EdenMachine on Feb 12, 2008 11:57 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

this is just ridiculous! 12 fights and i’m gonna be there!

by metalnick on Feb 20, 2008 5:07 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Geez- Clay Guida in the undercard. I know he’s lost some lately but he’s a near-the-top contender and always gives the fans action. I wouldn’t put any fight of his in the undercard.

I’d rather see 205 – Alexander vs Boetsch. I was impressed with Boetsch. If Alexander wasn’t able to run him over in the first minute or two, Boetsch could beat him either standing up or submit him.
