Well the whole thing is photo-shopped so I’d imagine everything is touched up. But Rich does have a very low body fat percentage.

For everyone who truely believes that Rich will win..will find out he hard way..in another upset ( if you want to call it an upset ) in 2007..when Silva beats the crap out the Rich.

BUT, there is an exception to every rule. Franklin losing to Silva is the lone exception where you truely can count someone out of a fight. Seriously. It will be the championship equivalent of Joe Scarola vs Mac Danzig. Rich is going to be beaten before he even steps foot into the octagon. He is scard of Anderson. He has nightmares of Anderson. If he didn’t he would have watched the tape of their first fight and try and see where things went wrong. Does anyone really think that he can handle Anderson’s clinch? Does anyone really think that Rich has better standup? Does anyone really think Rich has better BJJ? Rich probably has better wrestling, but that did him no good in their last fight. The only way I see Silva getting KO’d is by a wild looping punch that he doesn’t see coming. Hoever, that’s not Rich’s style. Rich is more of a straight ahead type puncher. Mostly jabs and especially crosses as oppposed to a lot of hooks and looping puches. I will be completely surprised to see Franklin make it out of the first round. If you think the key to beating Anderson is GnP, you need to go back & watch some of his older fights.

   Just so everyone knows, I like rich as much as everbody else does. I just find it hard to believe that he has been able to make any major adjustments to get him the win over Silva. The first time they fought I honestly didn’t know who Silva was. I knew he knocked out Leben, but that’s not very impressive. When he fought Rich, I didn’t give Silva a chance. He beat Rich up. Know I’ve watched a few of Silva’s past fights. Watched him effectively defend his title. Rich has nothing for him. If anybody knowledgeable in mma can give me a decent gameplan for Rich to win this fight, I’ll give him a chance, but until then….May He Rest in Pieces

Franklin’s best chance is to land a one-punch knockout. His second best chance is to shoot on Anderson, take him down and then do just enough to keep from getting stood up. The problem with that is he might be able to do it in one of the rounds, but very likely not 3 of 5 rounds.

Heres my prediction:

Anderson Silva, KO before the first round. Rich will put himself into a rear naked choke, and end the match. Luckily Big John will walk by just in time to pull Rich off, uh himself, before he goes out cold.

This way, less damage is done to Rich.

Hoever, that’s not Rich’s style. Rich is more of a straight ahead type puncher

Violent mike I’m not so sure about that. Rich always seems to throw every which way kind of crazy and un orthadox. Looks very hook like to me, very loopy. But having said that, I agree with everything else, I think looping or not, Franklin is gonna get killed by Anderson. Like you said, he was beaten a long time ago, I have never seen anybody looked so obvioulsy scared as Rich is of Anderson.

Oh yeah and I also hope, and think that Vera will beat Tim, I think it will be his hardest fight as of yet though obviously, as Vera has never realy foughten anybody legit in the first place.

His western boxing is better, maybe,so maybe he has a better jab and cross. If you go back and watch Andersons old fights, he has fought really good boxers and has beaten them all. He has massive kicks and has rarely has had difficulty getting anyone in the clinch. A Jab will not be the answer in this case, because he will be met with repetative front kicks to the belly and inside kicks to his lead leg.  I understand your a Franklin fan but snap to reality, Rich isn’t ready to fight Anderson again, He needs more time he not going to win if he comes in like he did against Mcdonald or Okami, sure he won but nothing devastating. Anderson is going to look to end the fight quick and painfully, Franklin is going to be gun shy, and to cautious, it wont happen the spider is going to crush Franklin, i kinda feel bad for him.

Brandon Vera has eight fights and they really arent that impressive not only that he shows sighns of fatigue in 3/5 min rounds Randy Couture has twenty four fights and the ones in the ufc have all been a title match except Mike van Arsdale and one of his biggest assets is his conditioning veras biggest fight is frank mir who to me is still very good but not the same old frank mir but couture has victories over Vitor Belfort twice Maurice Smith jeremy horn chuck liddell tito ortiz kevin randleman and the list goes on never say never but thats a pretty large upset not to Mention he vera hasnt fought in eleven months

I am really guessing they are playing on the words “Hostile Territory” and making the skyline fight. It would not seem real hostile if the put A nice clean picture of a nice trendy park in the city.
