This shit better be free. I was planning on going to the Newark NJ fight cause I live in the Northeast but I can waste my money on such a poor card. The count will be down for the count when Rashad beats his ass. I mean I like Bisping but I don’t think he can handle Evans. UFC 79 its gonna be a AMAZING card though. UFC 80 is gonna be good. Go Gonzaga! Massachusetts in the HOUSE!

gonzaga is to brutal for wurdum, i think if gonzaga didnt brake his nose that would of been a more equal fight, this guy wont lose another fight for a while.
why do all english fighters get put against davis, i thought he should of lost last time at ufc75, that kik to the head was good.

78 bisbing will have met his match he cant hang with rashad evans, maybe a loss will do bisbing some good often fighters that have a big loss bounce back strong in there next fight, just like gonzaga will

by ufcaddict on Oct 30, 2007 12:46 PM EDT reply actions

well, liaudin represents england anyway

The UFC 78 card is better then this!

Some of the best fighters in the UFC will be fighting in New Jersey. I would pay just for the Spencer Fisher Frankie Edgar fight. But you get Evans, Bisping, Chonan, Parisyan. That card is bad ass!

Man cant wait, but its still shit that UFC doesn’t come to Scotland. Its been in England several times and even Ireland, come on Dana were’s the love.

I really want to see GG against Tim Sylvia. I think GG will role right through Tim “Snooze-iac” Sylvia.

i say loss the marcus davis fight

What do you have against Davis? He’s an exciting fighter.

by pw on Nov 6, 2007 11:35 AM EST reply actions

you can add these fights to the rumoured section:

Colin Robinson vs Antoni Hardonk
Paul Taylor vs Paul Kelly
Terry Etim vs TBA

by ET on Nov 7, 2007 1:38 AM EST reply actions

card looks good. very marketable main event which promises to be exciting. i think stevenson will give bj a run for his money, and i think he can out-cardio penn if it goes to the later rounds. gonzaga versus werdum should be interesting, can’t wait to see those guys go at it. marcus davis is really growing on me and always puts on an exciting fight. i dont know how you can’t appreciate this card; especially since you can watch it for free.

by joe peteroy on Nov 7, 2007 5:04 PM EST reply actions

SAM STOUT, he’s is the real deal, he’s young he’s fast, good chin, good wrestling, once he gets his jusitsu up which is getting better rapidly, he is going to be a major title contender. SAM STOUT wait, just wait, he’ll hit his prime, then look out 155 pounder’s

by Josh on Nov 8, 2007 7:19 PM EST reply actions

better card than dec

by bryant on Nov 8, 2007 10:37 PM EST reply actions

Bisping will take him then take anyone.

by tony on Nov 12, 2007 3:15 PM EST reply actions

The only thing Bisping will take is a ride to the emergency room after Evans is done. Rashad is too much for Bisping.
As for losing the Davis fight on the UFC 80 card. Obviously JIM doesnt watch much ufc. Marcus Davis has had some of the most exciting matches in the last year. The Davis-Forrest Petz fight was a blood bath as was the Davis-Spratt fight until the ankle lock. Then came the knockout of Jason Tan and finally the Davis – Paul Taylor battle which was one of the more exciting bouts of the last few UFCs. More of Marcus Davis would be fine by most fans.

cro cop vs Andrei Arlovski ufc 80 cro cop ko andrei 3 round kick to head!

by tony on Nov 26, 2007 3:05 PM EST reply actions

not even bj penn could save this flop of a card. i highly doubt we get crocop vs arlovski anytime soon. i would love to see that fight tho.

i wasnt even looking foward to 79 till GSP was added. i still think chuck vs wandy will be over before it starts. i cant see chuck winning by any means other then a KO and i just see him getting knees to the face till he goes to sleep.

werdum vs gonzaga looks like a borefest. i see werdum getting another win against him via split decision. i can hear the boos now.

That card was not worth the trip! Come on Dana! Give us a card that we would kill to spend money on!

Congrats to James Lee for making the UFC!
I have trained with James, and tell you that you fans are in for a great fight! Don’t blink though, cuz James taps most guys out in about 30 seconds.
Unlike many rising fighters who get their shot in the spotlight quickly and then fade from under training, James has perservered for years under some very demanding condtions, along with his training partner Bryan Harper, and is in for the long haul.
Way to go James, can’t wait to see you win in the UFC!

by bryant on Nov 29, 2007 11:44 PM EST reply actions

At first glance i was a bit dissappointed with this card, but when you think about it there are some great fights in the making here! Especially the main event.the UFC need to keep their fight cards top tier if they’re to stay ahead of the game.At one time the UFC had all the names and big fights in MMA, not so anymore, the likes of EliteXC and Cage Rage just to name two, are snapping at their heels.EliteXC’s last event was awesome (Renegade)and they have loads of really exciting fighters at the moment, Nick Diaz, Paul “semtex” Daley……….i could go on. The UFC’s monopoly of the MMA scene is slowly slipping away and cards like this don’t help. :-)

by terra on Nov 30, 2007 3:02 PM EST reply actions

yes its on CBS lol

by Michael on Nov 30, 2007 3:12 PM EST reply actions

the matchups make for exciting fights, but i still think this fight card needs one more fight with a big name, especially if its going to be nationally broadcast on cbs.

by COR on Dec 2, 2007 2:51 PM EST reply actions

they still don’t know about cbs thing yet not a done deal

Why is Werdum on the poster while Arlovski warms the bench? Say what you want about that fight but at least Arlovski won

by TD on Dec 11, 2007 1:43 PM EST reply actions

The PPV offerings have been thin lately. This will be the first actual belt defense since Anderson Silva’s last fight. I’m going to buy this one and then the UFC goes on probation in my book. I don’t feel like I’m getting $39.95 worth of entertainment lately.
