Wonder if chuck will look pregnant or maybe he will start taking his carrer serious again. . .

Is it going to be on ESPN NEWS? The reason i ask is i think they have a NFL show on (at the usual times they have been showing weigh-ins)now due to football season.

And you can also meet Rampage Jackson the next day right before the event. I think he’ll be signing autographs from 3-4 at the Honda Center. Look for him in the toyo tires booth

p with him. Yes he is 37 years old, but so what? Henderson is the same age and looks great, and lets not 4get Randy, the guy looks amazing at 44 years of age. All this leads me to believe that Liddell doesnt train and take care of his body as good as he could.

Chuck in my oppinion wont be LHW champ again. However since he hasnt taken care of himself as well as he could, it leads me to believe that Chuck does have the potential to be BETTER. If he rededicates himself to mma, who knows, he could become a force again in the LHW division. For him to have a legit chance of being champion he has to improve and evolve as a fighter. The old predictable chuck, who parties all the time even the week leading up to a fight, and sports the beer belly isn’t gonna cut it anymore, especially in the stacked LHW division. Chuck’s fight game will have to evolve. The whole counterpunch strategy isnt gonna work for him ne more. He will have to devolope new things in the octagon. I’m not saying that he has to become a Ju jitsu black belt or anything like that because that is unrealistic, but I do think he will have to attck more, not just look for the big counterpunch. He has to become less predictable as a fighter.

I dont know if Chcuk is willing to evolve at this point in his career, but if he doesnt start taking care of his body, and becomes less predictable as a striker, who knows? maybe he can
have a legit chance at the LHW crown. It is unlikely, but as fans, a rededicted Liddell would be great for the LHW division.

Chuck vs. Shogun (I dont think chuck stands a chance but it would b so exciting if he did)

Chuck vs Wanderlei (chuck has a good chance since wanderlei’s style is tailor made for chuck to succeed.

Chuck vs. Hendo (Chucks beer belly will not be able to keep up wit Hendo’s fast paced style)

Chuck vs. Rampage (Chuck has no shot, Rampage knows exactly what he has to do to beat chuck)

However if a more dedicated and well conditioned Chuck evolves as a fighter and find away to make the above mentioned fights
more competitive, Us Fans would be treated to some awesome MMA wars.

The chuck of today just isnt gonna cut it in todays LHW division. Hopefully Chuck comes back strong because it would be great for mma.

Wonder how shogun will do in the ufc? Will he be another bust like cro cop? He won’t be able to use the ground kicks and stomps like he used so much in pride. I would like to see him beat rampage with ufc rules. It’s not going to happen!

In PRIDE against the CHUTE Box fighters, Rampage had the biggest problem with the knees in the clinch. That’s what nearly gave him brain damage! In a Rampage interview I saw on ESPN a couple of weeks ago, he was asked if he would like to see any of the rules changed. He said that he liked how in PRIDE you were able to soccer kick an opponent’s head while they are down on the ground. He said that they don’t hurt anywhere near as much as they look like they do, but they cause the ref to stop the fight quickly.

Thats interesting I always see those kicks and think, damn that must hurt, but I guess with no shoes you can’t hit them full blast.

Can’t wait to see Shogun in action, if Rampage has been trainning with Kongo then I think his clinch game should improve, if he can hang with Kongo’s knees then he can hang with anyone.
Rampage is on his way to becoming a truely well rounded MMA fighter.

Kongo isn’t really known for his clinch game, right? Especially prior to training with Juanito. Hey, speaking of Juanita, those of you that watched the EliteXC event this past weekend, whey was Juanito EVERY single fighters cut man as they entered the cage? Every fighter literally had to face lubed up by Juanito and his vasseline before stepping foot into the cage. Wierd.

He may like the soccer kick but I don’t really like seeing them. Now knees to the head of a downed opponent (especially if both are down) are something I do like seeing. I know we are looking out for the fighter’s though.

Oh yeah….and Chuck’s beer belly is permanant…it’s probably body fat that is stored underneath the muscles (this does happen).

Why Jardine?? Why not Alexander??
