Anyone can make a prediction. That’s all it is.

Ummm yup. All bout opinions.
Either of these guys could win, and a win definitely puts them up towards title shot contention.

Fight is a toss up, he is going with Thomas, I like Florian.

by Schiro on Sep 15, 2007 10:01 AM EDT reply actions

Din as some pretty accurate boxing prob top three in the 155 class and is a wiz on the ground. Kenny is one tough guy as evidence is taking a 25 minute beating from Sean Sherk. He likes to throw some leg kicks which is a tool in his game and up against the cage I think he was the advantage.

Overall I can see Din Thomas winning the fight in thr third round via submission of judges decision. I would not at all be surprised with a Florian win at any point during the fight.

Im actually rooting for both.

I like both of these guys. Totally a toss up. Din did look unstoppable in his last fight, and Kenny toughed out a nasty leg lock and kept the pace going. Both fighters are pretty evenly matched. And I like them both a good amount to the point that I cant really favor one over the other.

I think it all depends on who controls the fight. The guy that goes out there and makes the other guy fight his fight is going to win.

Personally, I think the winner of this fight should be crowned #1 contender. That’s just my personal opinion. I say that to set up this next question for you all, “Where will the winner of this fight stand in the 155 rankings”?

by Machine on Sep 15, 2007 11:33 AM EDT reply actions

I would say the winner would rank 4th, below Sherk, Penn, and Stevenson.

Got to go with Din on this, he’s from Wilmington, DE which is where I’m from. So you know I have to root for him.

I think if he wins this, he should be lined up for a title shot soon.

Oh yeah man, Im with ya… but thats not how matching works for the most part in the UFC.
I see Din winning, and Din getting the title shot his next fight. This guy is just an animal at 155…

i think din has better boxing, but i think kenflo has a better ground and pound game. i think the fight will definately end up on the ground giving kenflo a tough 3 round decision

by big reg on Sep 15, 2007 1:24 PM EDT reply actions

good mix of opinions. I think kenny is too tough to be tko’d and to good to be submitted. I’ve got my duckets down on him cause of those lethal leg kicks, elbows, and what i think is an awesome ground game . Can’t wait to find out.

This is a toss up! I’m not gonna bet against either of these fighters.

by john on Sep 15, 2007 2:16 PM EDT reply actions

Im gonna go for Thomas, he is on a roll, and I like his fighting style.

by c-war on Sep 15, 2007 2:38 PM EDT reply actions

Florian will win this match. He is just a better fighter at this part of his career. If you want to make money bet on florian.

by ventura on Sep 15, 2007 3:02 PM EDT reply actions

I see it like this…

Thomas will put the pressure on early in the fight and have Florian backpaddling and fighting with his head down.

After a close knee I see a takedown by Florian and wearing down Din for the second round.

In the second round I can imagine Florian shooting after a wild swing from Thomas. There it ends with some pounding if Din lies on his back and if he pulls a turtle he gets choked out. I would say he will be tko’d.

i always thought his name was pronounced like “dean”…

by ActionJackson on Sep 15, 2007 6:04 PM EDT reply actions

Whoa…now this is a great fight…i just happen to like Kenny more… as a person and a fighter so that is who i am hoping to win…although Din could definately win at any time, either could actually.

din by flying kick to the knuts.

by Hardcase on Sep 16, 2007 2:52 PM EDT reply actions

maybe if Matt knew how to pronounce Din’s name (pronounced Dean) i’d take him seriously, go back to chopping wood and leave the predictions to Randy.

by arsin on Sep 17, 2007 2:41 AM EDT reply actions

there would be a moment that both fighters will go exchanging strikes crazy, then the 1st one who got caught by counter will get tag, then he will be dominate by the other guy till the judges scorecard

It’s just one more log on Kenny’s fire of disrespect.

by PW on Sep 17, 2007 10:16 AM EDT reply actions

I think that this is as evenly matched as two fighters can be. Flip a coin, and that’s your pick.

by ViolentMike on Sep 17, 2007 10:55 AM EDT reply actions

din has a chance if he takes his meds. Flo will outclass Thomas. I like Robin’s break down.
