UFCmania on FOXSports Radio 1460 recapping UFC 75 (Audio)

fox radio ufc Jesse Holland from UFCmania.com was back on FOXSports radio earlier today with "Mr. Sunshine" Steve Cofield to recap UFC 75: "Champion vs. Champion."

To check out the audio click here.

During the segment, Jesse and Steve discussed the fallout from UFC 75, including the general public distaste with the decision in the light heavyweight fight between Michael Bisping and Matt Hamill.

In fact, Steve is one of few in the media to stand up and declare that the result is a major overreaction. He makes some nice points.

Oh yeah, Jesse does, too.

That's not all, however. The two also chat about the other fights on the card, as well as what's in store for fight fans in the near future at UFC Fight Night 11 and UFC 76: "Knockout" later this month.

To listen to the bit just click here.

Like the rest of us, "Mr. Sunshine" has been a busy man this week and last with his UFC coverage. Check out these other audios:

  • Steve Seivert, Houston Chronicle MMA beat reporter (and good friend of UFCmania.com).
  • Marc Ratner, UFC Vice President of Regulatory Affairs

Enjoy.

Mr. Sunshine is right. Total overreaction. I can’t wait until all of this Bisping-Hamill BS just goes away. It’s one fight.

EXACTLY! one fight between two guys who will never even be close to being a “threat” in the LHW division. who cares? give em’ the rematch on an undercard and lets be done with this, please! they both suck. maybe we should talk a little bit more about the Davis recovery and sub, or the monster knee that Alexander threw into Sakara’s face or the five round war that gave us a unified 205 belt. there was a lot of great stuff that happened at 75 that is getting overshadowed by these two nobodys!

I agree 100 percent with Sunshine. Sorry Holland. You’re still a good writer though, lol.

You’re right. So much talk about Bisping/Hamill, and hardly anything about the rising star Houston. Man that guy is scary. I picked Sakara to win that fight, and Houston ran right over him like a bus. The guy’s power is unbelievable. I guess if he doesn’t knock you out with either one of his hands, he still has 2 knees to use! This guy is going to the top in a hurry, and I dont expect anyone that wants to stand with him can beat him. I dont know how well his conditioning is, since he decides to end his fights in the first round, but maybe if a blackbelt in jui jitsu that can wear Alexander out a bit and get him huffin’, then MAYBE they could KO or sub him. In order to make it to that point, you’re definitely going to have to weather a storm. SCARY DUDE!
