Rampage is a class act..and one MMA persona that embodies what our sport has become..If Rampage and Henderson bring their A games on Sept 8th..Wow!!! I’m pulling for Page in this match up to upset Henderson.

Vision:
Rampage gets KTFO 1st round by a haymaker right hook.

This fight wll not go to a decision. They both have a great chance to win. If I had to pick… I’d go wit Rampage

Page has no chance of winning. Did you see how he was training? Weak training. He wasnt even hitting the bags hard. He looked so slow. Page cant win.

You honestly think that short piece of footage accurately depicts how his entire camp is going? If it does, I think you are right. He is probably putting in quite a bit of work though. He wanted the Pride belt for a long time and I don’t think he is taking Hendo lightly.

I like Hendo more then I do page. Both are good fighters..this is really a toss up. I see a 4rd TKO gnp for Hendo. This fight is going to the ground at some point with Hendo on top. WAR HENDO!!

Too many titles being held by one man is not a good thing. If Hendo can get his hands on the LHW and Middle weight belts simultaneously, we will only get to c like one title defense in each division per year. Is that what u guys want?
I dont care what Hendo says about staying at LHW, Dana white will try to unify the titles of as many divisions as he possibly can, therefore I am very sure that Hendo will face anderson Silva.
Rampage will win this fight…. but Hendo will be a FORCE to be reckoned with in either division. Think of the possibilities:
Hendo vs. Shogun
Hendo vs. Liddell
Hendo vs Wanderlei 3
Hendo vs tito (tito would get smashed)
hendo vs. Anderson Silva
Hendo vs. Rich Franklin
Hendo vs. Filho (when he comes over from WEC)
Title or no Title Hendo will be involved in many MMA WARS over the next couple of years. Id rather let Rampage have the title so Hendo can move up and down in weight to give us some of the most exciting fights in history.
What if Rampage’s 1st UFC SLAM comes against Hendo, WOW that would be a huge win!

sorry guys, this one is too close to call in my books…but Rampage seems to have that “I release footage of lacklsuter training videos….then whoop that ass on fight night” thing going for him. So I’m not sure. Hes a big tough dude. Cant eait for the fight though.

Henderson is cool and proven that he’s a dangerous dude but I can’t help but wonder what will happen to the LHW division if he wins. Henderson doesn’t seem very interested in fighting in the UFC (given his dislike of everything cage/unified-rules oriented so I think it would probably hurt the org to have him continue fighting there to be honest.

What r u talking about? Henderson doesnt have a big deal wit the UFC, but I guarentee he will sign a 5 or 6 fight contract win or loose vs. Rampage.
Believe me Hendo will be in the UFC for a long time

i dont see any way rampage can win. to me it would be more of an upset then serra winning. rampage might own chuck but he doesnt own hendo. shogun schooled rampage and broke him mentally and physically and i see the same thing happening here. i see alot of hype for a very one sided fight. i highlt doubt hendo will even try to finish the fight early. i see the fight going into atleast the 3rd round with rampage looking tired and beaten down and after he gasses hendo will push the pace more and get the KO.

..The Rampage that lost Silva/Shogun is not training with ametuers no more..Rampage is a different fighter with the same insane core strength..to pick Henderson up from the guard and knock him out..better striking..and Juanito in his corner..breaking Page down on what he needs to do to beat Henderson..It should be a War..but I think Rampage is going to big to strong for him.. and I know Dan has fought bigger guys but not anyone with Page’s type core strength.

For anyone to claim that they can honestly predict this fight is crazy.
Page n Hendo r very evenly matched, this fight comes down to:
Conditioning
Preperation
Gameplan
Both Hendo and Rampage have the ability to not only win but finish the fight. If I was forced to choose I would go wit Rampage.
This fight will feature Rampages worldclass take down defense
(which might even b better than Liddells)
Vs.
Hendo’s world class takedowns
Fixed92: u have a wild imagination if u dont c anyway Rampage can possibly win!

You know I was thinking, that Shogun gets the winner of Rampage/Henderson match for the title, if Liddell wins over Jardine, he WILL face Silva in December, surely for a title match, can you imagine if Shogun wins the title and Silva beats Liddell??? Shogun Vs Silva? I mean they are like brothers! It can happen, would be an insane match. Other than that, other possible matches are any combination of Rampage/Henderson/Shogun Vs Liddell/Silva. Who would you want to see say Summer 2008, fight for the title. Remember Dana said Liddell needs 2 wins to get another crack at the belt, and Jardine is no match for him.

IF HENDERSON WINS THE TITLE IN ORDER FOR HIM TO RETAIN THE TITLE HE HAS TO FIGHT FOR THE UFC. IF HE DECIDES TO LEAVE HE WILL HAVE TO RELINQUISH THE TITLE. PLUS FROM WHATS CIRCULATING PRIDE FC IS RAPIDLY FADING.
ON RAMPAGE-HIS SKILLS ARE NOT AS TECNICAL AS HENDERSON’S.
RAMPAGE HASN’T SHOWN CONSISTANCY HIS HIS WILL TO DOMINATE
FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. HIS NEWLY FOUND GLORY MIGHT CHANGE THAT BUT I SEE HENDO WINNING BY KNOCKOUT.

Rampage isn’t the underdog
Last odds I seen were:
Rampage -150
Henderson 120
which is funny because:
Shogun -150
Forrest is 120
So in the oddsmakers eyes, Forrest has as good a chance at beating Shogun, as Hendo has of beatin Rampage. That is crazy! r the oddsmakers on Crack…. Im betting Big Bucks on Shogun at -150 odds. The winnings r gonna pay for me to go to my next 2 UFC events live!

Hey, under the fighter profiles in UFC.com, it lists Dan “Dangerous” Henderson, instead of Hollywood. I have always known him as Hollywood, when was he ‘Dangerous’, or did one of the UFC.com interns mess up?

Are you sure about that? That’s gonna screw up all the schedules for the fighters. If Hendo moves up and down in weight (assuming he holds on to LHW/MW belts) competing in more than 1 division …this will STALL championship fights in LHW or MW depending on which division Hendo competes in.
Even tho i’d like to see him face A.Silva, i think this’ll just screw up the matches. I hope he picks ONE divison to fight in.

If Hendo wins…I think he’ll stay @ 205lbs.
If Rampage wins…Hendo might go back to 185lbs. I think there’s a little more pressure on Rampage to win.(not that pressure means much to either fighter) But Rampage is @ 205lbs for life. Hendo could really drop down whenever he feels like it. Another words, if Rampage wants to stay on top…he HAS to win. Hendo could lose this fight and have another title shot right off the bat @185lbs.(possibly?)
I’d be just as excited to watch Hendo face Anderson Silva!!!

This fight will be a war. There will be no quick stoppages or any other nonsense for this fight. Hendo is a warrior and Rampage is a soldier.
This fight could go either way. If Rampage can control the pace and the clinch, he can beat Dan much like he did Matt Lindland. If Dan can create space and throw those haymakers and set up the takedown….he might have it too.
Don’t listen to the haters, this fight is going to be a war.

Actually I wrote that post assuming that he looses against Quinton. Sorry I should have been more specific
Actually I would love to c Dan not hold any titles. It sounds selfish but without a title, he can move up and down in weight classes giving us all kinds of dream matches.
If I had to pick a division for him to stick to, it would be Middleweight. No one else can really challenge Anderson for the tittle in that division. He is really needed in that division. I would like to c him fight Rich Franklin also
But b4 any permanent move to MW, I will guarentee that Dana will set up a Henderson vs. Wanderlei 3 match, especially since they fought each other on American Soil last year, so it will be a very marketable and exciting fight!

Tito will never have the ballz to get in a cage wit Rampage, he will spend the rest of his career ducking Rampage and all the other Pride stars. At this point in his career he seems content on squeeking out a win by decision against lessor experienced TUF alumni. Until Bisping KTFO Tito, and then the only person left for Tito to fight(and that he isnt scared to fight) will be against Albert Crane at UFC 80: THROW EM TO THE WOLVES! This event will take place between Janne Jameson’s legs!

Seeing that you ‘supposedly’ train at Team Quest, I would hope that you knew that your fellow teammate if fighting in the first ever unification title bout, which is FIVE ROUNDS. Unless a “three round pounder” means that you don’t care you wins, as long as someone gets KO’d part way thru the 3rd round? Or do you want it to go the distance???

Why? Because he ain’t Hip Hop like Rampage??? Dan is a class act that deserves everything he has recieved in life because of his hard work and dedication. I’ll have fun rooting for him as he tears up the 205 and 185lb divisions of the UFC, win or lose the fight against Rampage.

The Facts:
In today’s conference call with Dana White, Dana said that if Dan loses, he doesn’t know what division he would be fighting in.
When Dan was asked the same question, he said that he would actually prefer to fight at 205lb so he doesn’t have to cut any weight, and there are better fighters in the 205lb division. Also, he said that he has fought against bigger guys his whole career, so its no big deal.
