That pic was at Light Heavy….he looks way more healthy and cut up in the pics of him training for Gonzaga. I didn’t know Gabriel was 260 pounds! That’s a very big dude….and he’s not all gangly and uncoordinated like “Swamp Thing.” I’m so torn on this fight.

Gonzaga is a big dude, but Sylvia is bigger than him. Couture seems to be getting stronger, if you look at his body. Couture should have an easier time taking Gonzaga down, if he was able to take the giant Sylvia down to the ground at will. Gonzaga: you’re in some deep trouble man!

That’s because he’s NOT. Gabe is 245 lbs.

Sylvia is bigger, but Gonzaga is more of threat with his size. Gonzaga is stronger and faster than Tim by far. Plus Tim supposedly had a back injury in their fight. I don’t like excuses, but as someone who has had two back surgeries, it’s nearly impossible to be involved in physical competition when you have a herniated disc and a pinched nerve. I still think Randy would have one the fight had Tim been injury free though. Gonzaga has a lot of tools with standup, BJJ, and raw power. I really like Randy, but I think he’s going to say goodbye to the belt tomorrow.

Gabe is listed as 6’1" 240, and Randy is 6’2" 220

What sucks for RC is that GG wants to be on his back.
I wouldn’t be surprised if GG pulled guard on RC, if he doesn’t catch him with some nasty kick, punch or knee first.

i think he’s talking about koscheck (vs GSP).
randy has a good chance in his fight. he looks to be in great shape and he’s got 15 title fights for experience. while gonzaga probably has more ways to win, it’s not certain he will. randy is an anmial.

You can’t call your self a Canadian, and not beleive that GSP will win. Damn you, hael, get back on GSP’s band wagon unless you broke an ankle jumping off so fast after Serra.
Let’s win this GSP the country is with you (except hael)

OMFG!!!!!! I Canadian that has doubts about GSP. This is absolute breaking news on this site, and actually deserves it own thread, “A Canadian Doubts the Great GSP?”.
Much respect to you heal for saying that, you probably just made about 100 people from this site cry. I can hear Canada sobbing from CT.

I’m canadian and could care less if someone thinks kos will win. I don’t think he will but I thought gsp would kill serra and look what happened. Logically gsp is the better fighter, is more well rounded and SHOULD get the W but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from gsp’s last fight. I admit it, I was one of the ones who thought gsp was “unbeatable” and gsp’s last fight shocked the hell out of me, and to be honest it hurt my faith in gsp’s abilities. If that fight didn’t happen I( and almost everyone )else would have little doubt about gsp’s ability to beat koscheck. I hope to god gsp beats the shite out of koscheck because of all the trash he’s been spewing, he pissed me off with all the garbage that came out of his mouth on count down to ufc 74 last night on spike. GSP took the high road and koscheck is going to look soooooo stupid when gsp tko’s him in the first round.
