Is that Forrest Griffen behind Couture there in that pic?

Yup, that’s Forrest indeed.

I can’t wait for this fight.I know Randy will be victorious.I’d really like to see Randy v.s Fedor.

Randy is just training so hard for this fight; I have a hard time not understanding why so many people are counting Randy out. Randy will win and I think Arlovski might be next for him, if not Arlovski maybe Cro Cop.

Nor can I wait for this fight, and I love Randy, but Gabe is the future of the heavyweight division. Fedor vs. Randy would be cool to see, but Fedor vs. Gonzaga has the potential to be classic. We’ll see in a week what GG is made of. We already know what Randy is made of!

Umm, Red, aren’t you counting Gonzaga out now?

They’re both talented and training their asses off. Theres no guarantee about either of them winning.

gonzaga looks shitty for all his ufc fights and against bums he wins one fight and hes the future of the heavyweight division lol

by rylie on Aug 19, 2007 12:14 AM EDT reply actions

If Couture wins its gonna be by decision…..any other ways of it ending, would go to GG.

by Luke on Aug 19, 2007 12:31 AM EDT reply actions

exactly like luke said, if couture forces to the later rounds he will win. If it goes 5 then randy will win, gonzaga can’t win 3 of 5. But he sure as hell can knock randy’s head off if he catches him.

The tough thing is randy NOT getting caught in the first 3 rounds, that will be very hard.

Gonzaga by referee stoppage

I think Gonzaga will crack under the pressure. Randy will win this one and lose the next fight regardless of the opponent.

Its cool to see RC training his ass off. Gonna be a great fight i hope. I keep going back and forth i just give up on predicting who might win. First i said GG then i thought man ya cant count RC out then im thinkin well GG is a monster now im like 50/50. either way i’ll be happy no matter who wins. I just hope its a great fight that lives up to everyones expectations.

I have even more faith in RC. I really think he is going to pull off the win, and then face the winner of Nog/CroCop if CroCop can beat Kongo thats the matchup that is next for him. Cant wait for this one. Randy is going t owin 4rd tko gnp. WAR RANDY!!

We all know who the fan fav is. We know who the underdog is. Records and other facts of the past mean nothing. Understand, even if it hasn’t been officially declared who will face the winner, that person has already been chosen in the minds of Joe Silva and Dana White. Know that the UFC has a specific person they want to be champ. You don’t think they have their favs just like us? BS!!!
I’d like to see RC retire on top somehow. Above is just my opinion…
