I saw a commercial for that and saw his mug pop up and figured it had to be someone who looks like him. Well, good for him. Maybe he’ll have more success against a 2,400 lb bull than he had against 205 lb Bisping.

Its really too bad he didn’t make it in the UFC. He may not be very good, but he is tough and he always fought hard. His fights were always exciting. A lot of heart. Oh well.

“he has made an impressive mixed martial arts record of 17-4 with one knockout.”
Wow, not even close. Sherdog lists him with a 7-8 record. Good research by CMT.

Yo Mania, great site, so we’ll allow you this filler

17-4?? yeah this guy is 7-8, the TUF fights don’t count, they are exhibition bouts; so they don’t go on your record.

You know this guy is one of the hardest fighting guys in the world. He has endured a 160 pound weight loss, a not so good UFC record, the feared “minimum wage” lifestyle, and most of all he had to watch his kid battle the worst evil in the world. For all who talk shit about him, this is a man dedicated to keeping his family fed. I have nothing but the utmost respect for this guy!
Who cares what CMT said, just show respect or say nothing.
Filler, ha I say one of the best news updates yet Mania.

Chris, I have 3 kids, and a job which most people don’t fantasize doing, I don’t know about you but if Josh’s concern was just to keep his family fed as you state he would have kept to his hospital 9-5 which I am sure included benmefits, instead of quitting to go chase the glory, acclaim or whatever else he sees as a fighterns due. And oh yeah, while some of us who do non glorious jobs are home with our kids, your parenting role-model is out bouncing at a strip club so he can train, and I am sure this CMT gig allowed him to be home to read to them before bed. Just having kids, to include sick ones does not automatically earn my respect, it’s what you do day in and day out for them that impresses me, and this fantasy before family poser does not get mine. I work instead of surf or golf or whatever else sounds better than working, and in finality, I certainly don’t stand on the beach posing like I’m in the tube like this guy stands around posing like he’s buffed

… and i don’t like his “Close my eyes, hold my breath and swing wildly and hope i hit something” form of striking. I really don’t like this guy at all as a fighter.

Dude, Except for my assuming that he had bennies at his hospital job, the rest of my comments were based on what was written here and profiled during his TUF exposure.

I was about to say the same thing.
Haynes is a good person, lil lacking as a fighter though.
