BJ is a phenomal fighter that has yet to reach his full potential. I am glad to hear he cut out the alcohol. I have nothing but respect for Mr. Penn.

BJ Penn is the best pound for pound fighter in the world…and when he is holding the 170lbs and 155lbs belts at the same time this wont be a debated by anyone. Now that he is training right I dont see anyone that can stop him.

I’m not sure if he was bashing Matt Hughes. I remember the Hughes VS. GSP fight and one of the supposed groin kicks was questionable. All I have to say is the sport of MMA is lucky to have a fighter like BJ PENN.

Great interview. I would love to see two things happen:

1. Clean out the drugs in MMA

2. For all those on steriods, let them keep taking them and see what level they can get too.

I hope BJ smokes his competition. He’s got insane skills but he has yet to climb to the top of mountain. I’d like to see him take 155, maybe get to fight Sherk-roid next year, give up the 155 belt and move up to 170, and beat Matt Hughes. How’s that for a to-do list?

The only questions about BJ have been his lifestyle? training? and conditioning? If he is ready to fully commit him self, than the sky is the limit for BJ. I believe he can be extremely dominate in the LW division… and can give many top 5 welterweights fits on any given night… With MMA blowing up the way it is, time for BJ to reach is full potential and start making top fighters look silly.

What about submitting the great Matt Hughes to win the 170 lb title? I really want to see GSP take back his title from Matt Serra. In a dream World Matt Serra Demolishes Matt Hughs, and legitamizes himself as more than just lucky punch… then GSP picks him apart for 3 rounds and in the fourth he ko’s him with a kick to the head. Then we GSP vs. BJ 2 and Bj wins his second 170 lb title while holding the 55 title.

Question? If Sean Sherk is cleared of his allegations will penn fight him, It seems he is convinced on Sherk’s guilt. Will Penn accept the decision of the athletic review board if they decide to overturn it and allow Sherk to defend his title? Or will he bitch out and say I cant fight him he’s on steroids. Just wondering!!

I’m fairly confident in saying the Steroid Shark is guilty. Even if he clears his name I say call him the steroid shark not the muscle shark. He finished his cycle late and didn’t allow enough time to flush it out of his system that’s what I think happened.

BJ will whip him anyway.

Nah Penn will fight him no matter what, there is no way he wouldn’t. If anything, he will fight him with a vengance against steriods and probably bring alot of anger and bad blood into it.
