Ladies and gentleman the ever so graceful on his feet Tim Slyvia. I wonder if he did the little shimmy fake kicks lol
by Lawman on Jul 30, 2007 11:01 AM EDT reply actions
Well, we know he won’t be a ballroom dancer when he’s done fighting.
by GriffinFan05 on Jul 30, 2007 11:24 AM EDT reply actions
Awesome. What a great way to improve his balance and footwork. I hear that some NFL players use ballet drills to do the same thing. And yes, he should definitely wear the cape and mask into the Octagon.

good of tim to be a good sport. now let’s never watch that again.
by wagnerav on Jul 30, 2007 11:54 AM EDT reply actions
I guess we won’t be seeing him on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ anytime soon. Especially since he is not a star, nor can he dance…
by ViolentMike on Jul 30, 2007 11:55 AM EDT reply actions
Wait wait…Let me check.
Yep, I dislike Tim Sylvia even more now.
by Mitch on Jul 30, 2007 11:58 AM EDT reply actions
dammm…well at least he is better at dancing than fighting
by juan on Jul 30, 2007 12:00 PM EDT reply actions
He had more offensive moves dancing then he did during the couture fight.
by Tons on Jul 30, 2007 12:03 PM EDT reply actions
His footwork sucked, he could have definitely taken her down in the 2nd minute of round 1.
I thought he had back problems?
by ajadoniz on Jul 30, 2007 12:10 PM EDT reply actions
Ok, that might have been the single most queer thing I have ever seen on this site! Please no more dancing or Tim Silvia ever again on UFCmania!
by Americana on Jul 30, 2007 12:16 PM EDT reply actions
Can we at least give the guy credit for helping the community out with a charity? He obviously doesn’t care what others think of him or he will go ahead and make an ass out of himself for a good cause…Gotta respect that

Exactly, I don’t like Tim but you have to respect that he was helping a charity out.

Cant wait till somebody beats the living crap out of him. I wanna c Fedor maul the shit out of him…. or Cro cop chop his big goofy ass down with those terrifying left roundhouse kicks. Tim is the fighter I want to c get beat up the most in the world.

hahaha, that’s hilarious, though I think even she would win a decision.
by GriffinFan05 on Jul 30, 2007 1:37 PM EDT reply actions
This guy needs to focus on fighting and trying to win again
by Stafo on Jul 30, 2007 1:50 PM EDT reply actions
He looks pretty fat there.
Yeah, hats of to Timmy for making a fool out of himself for charity BUT… he looks way heavy. Maybe it’s just the gay puffy shirt but if he was cutting to get under 265 before, he’s 325-335 in that clip. If he’s going to win fans over in his return he better be in shape.
by Mamas Boy on Jul 30, 2007 1:52 PM EDT reply actions
I watched maybe 45 seconds worth and then drifted over to the other related videos of school yard ho’s throwing down.
by Mamas Boy on Jul 30, 2007 1:53 PM EDT reply actions
I’ve seen alot of definitions of throwing in the towel. Now I’ve seen another.
Just wow.

i think it was cool that he would take on dancing after such an ambarassing loss. he wasn’t that good i mean his foot work here was the same in all his fights but i mean it takes balls to dance infront of all those people. but i hope he never shows up on blind date again.
by neopaladin01 on Jul 30, 2007 2:49 PM EDT reply actions
He can barely move inside the octogon, why is he trying to dance. He’s just a Gump. G-U-M-P! I really wish the UFC would put him up against Cro Cop, Nogeria or Barrnett…but my dream match would be Fedor beating the living crap out of him.
I really hate this Oaf Sylvia
by jjdnb on Jul 30, 2007 2:49 PM EDT reply actions
That would be tight if that was his new theme. He should use the whole costume and the music for his entrance…..
by Russ on Jul 30, 2007 2:53 PM EDT reply actions
TIM SYLVIA was on Blind Date??? I never knew that. How goofy was he?
by ViolentMike on Jul 30, 2007 2:58 PM EDT reply actions
I mean this guy has basically done nothing wrong apart from crap his pants. This guy keeps trying hard to impress his existing fans and make new ones but everyone just doesn’t seem to like him. Give Tim a break, he’s just trying to do smthg good apart from fighting..this is charity, when was the last time anyone in this chat room/blog did something for charity?

I don’t know what ballroom phantom of the opera fans will become UFC fans based on the Lameiac’s performance.

I can’t believe all the Tim haters. He’s not that bad. He seems like a nice guy. If his trash talking brought Fedor to the UFC well then we couldn’t thank him enough. It wasn’t dumb what he said about Fedor, maybe a little unrealistic as Tim would be a heavy underdog. It’s his job and it could have brought him a big pay day.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s not great or the most marketable. I don’t think he meant to detract from Randy after the title fight when he mentioned his back. He does seem like a nice guy.
I say quit the hating and give the guy a chance. He would probably beat Randy in a rematch….And I’m an AA fan!

Ha Ha Ha lame, shitty dancer for sure, but I don’t dislike big tim or anything and don’t agree with most commentors opinions on him, the guy just seems a glutton for punishment. I agree with RobH86 and think he’s a nice guy, I just feel sorry for him because he keeps making an ass of himself.

Hey Mad Props to Tim to for supporting a charity it takes more than wining a fight to be a true champion.
by demondriven on Jul 30, 2007 8:23 PM EDT reply actions
I like Tim.
He doesnt seem to give much of a fuk what people think of him and its good to have some huge guys in the UFC, just to mix it up a little. His reach and knockout power must be difficult, if not intimidating, for any smaller fighter to deal with.
Would like to see a godzilla style matchup between Tim and Hong-Man Choi.

Hey put a octagon around them dancing and i think tim might just pull out a decison. Tim is such a wanker. He is probley one or the most over ranked fighters in the UFC. For the most part of you want the fight to be a draw just dont throw a punch. Cause all tim knows how to do is throw a little counter jab. Tim should just retire and go into ball room dancing the big fruit cake.

What is up with this guy? what’s next" we’re gonna see him ride a baby tricycle? Props for charity though. good job Tim

I repsect the man for saying “fuck it” and doing something a bit out there for charity…and when did all of you mma fans become formal dance experts.Grow up.

LMAO at that godzilla matchup. Now that would be something to behold. Or Tim against Giant Silva. One of them could shoot in and drive the other into the cage in which case the whole thing would collaspse WWE style. The match would be probably be declared a no contest. What a spectacle.
I would rather see Tim fight Vera than Arlovski.

did I hear someone boo him when he won the 1st place decision?
Man – he can’t get a break!
