Hopefully Stephan doesn’t plan on trying to convince Forrest to start juicing.

This will be good for him regardless of what the fans think. He wants to improve and he just joined one of the elites

Bonnar will always carry around the stigma of being suspended for using steriods; however, at UFC 73, he looked focused and I welcome that. Granted, Mike Nickels, isn’t exactly the cream of the crop, but Bonnar appeared to be more aggressive and determined to make a statement.
I think training over at the Couture camp will only make him better. Do I see Bonnar as champ? No. But, I think he will make himself, at the very least, a solid fighter in the division.

Good for him. I don’t really care a whole lot about him or Forrest any more, but this will be good for him.
Looks like big daddy couture is preparing him a stable of fighters to fund his retirement.
You know when he loses the belt sometime after his 82nd birthday.

i think bonnar is the man, besides the steroids thing whats not to like about the guy? him and forrest have been getting the best out of each other ever since tuf 1, so a training partnership under randy couture makes a lot of sense, hopefully bonnar can push forrest to the best shape of his life and i hope forrest shocks the world at 76…

Who really cares about Boner?
Who really cares about griffin? Both these guys are going no where in a hurry. Bonner beat Mike Nickels…..WOW!! Forrest fought like a girl against Ramirez. If forrest meets shogun, he’s going to cry again. I think hes a funny dude, but hes really nothing special as a fighter. I give them props for the first bonner/griffin fight but there going no where from here

I don’t see either of these guy going anywhere in their division. But, training with Couture can only help so I applaud the minor boost in light heavyweight quality because you know these two are going to stick around and ride their TUF popularity.

tell couture to make sure bonnar doesnt make griffin take steroids….lol

I guess everyone hates Forrest and Bonnar except me. I think they will both carry on strong. I like both of their fighting styles. I think Forrest is little more athletic though. But regardless of what everyone else says, I have faith in both to eventually become contenders.

I actually thought Ramirez was the boring one in his fight with Forrest. Forrest was throwing consistent connecting combos and ducking out of harms way only when needed. What did Ramirez do? Nothing, except pace around angry. Even in the third round when it was known that he was losing, he continued to do nothing! I cant stand that, when a fighter knows he’s being beat and does nothing to change it.

Bloody hilarious…Boner lol.
During UFC72 when Forrest kept backing away from Ramirez in a hurried fashion, these dudes in front of me started shouting RUN FORREST, RUN!…It was a gem.

Bonner is Good Peoples. With this move to Randy’s Team, I only hope for great things to happen to that guy.
Very Cool!!

Boner’s friggin chin is like a boner. I’m surprised that guy doesn’t get knocked out more often. Look at that Jay Leno skeedoody!

Forrest better stay away from that Boner juice boy or he’ll be out of it for 9 months.

Don’t understand why you guys are hating on Forrest so much. I mean he may not be the most talented fighter in the LHW division and I dont see him beating Shogun but every fight (other than the Ramirez fight) that he has fought in has been exciting and there is no one that has more heart than this guy. Regardless of whether or not you think he’s a great fighter I think you at least have to have respect for the passion and heart he brings into the octagon.

I truly honestly believe there is a very good chance that Forrest will shock the world at 76,as a Bisping supporter I was hoping MB would get to fight Shogun in London coz a win over Shogun would be great.
Good luck to Forrest anyway,Im not a Shogun fan and I think hes gonna struggle with the new rules.

Are you going to 75? I am, can’t wait. Flying over the Saturday morning. Also when the fans starting chanting ole ole ole for Forrest a mate of mine goes, “You know, Ramirez probably thinks that’s for him.”

I think Bonnar has a lot of talent… very interesting style. Folks @ Couture’s gym will definitely benefit by him being there… THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!

I especially love the “Who really cares about griffin? Both these guys are going no where in a hurry” comment … I suppose being Light Heavyweight champion is going nowhere?
Both of them have put on great shows, have proven themselves to be great fighters and Forrest continues to pummel. Please stop helping perpetuate the claims that MMA fans are rock stupid mongoloid ingrates. You’re not helping the rest of us.

We’ll the guy who makes the match up’s for the UFC has said he’d rather see a fighter fight and lose than win and not fight. I think that’s why Forrest is getting so many opportunities besides the fact he’s contracted per-check with a 6 figure payout.
All he want’s to do is throw down and give the crowd a good show. As far as his skill goes he’s not even anywhere near Maricuo’s level.
He sell’s tickets for Dana cuz people know he’s going to go out and start throwing bombs.

I totally agree Bonnar is a well rounded fighter. I would like to see him try to finish more fights with his submissions skill rather than try to scrap with everyone-each to their own I guess.

Bonnar beat Griffin in their first fight, he just didn’t get the decision. But he won that fight.
