Official UFC 73 weigh-in results for 'Stacked'

ufc 73 weigh in resultsThe crop of fighters for UFC 73: "Stacked" have all weighed-in for the event tomorrow evening without incident.

Not too many sparks -- rather uneventful event. However, Tito and Rashad were jawing at one another during the staredown. The UFC is pumping this "bitter" rivalry up for this match up pretty hard.

There was even a promo video before the champions weighed in with the two of them talking smack.

Anderson got in the face of Nate, but the two appear to share a mutual respect -- just a little gamesmanship I suppose.

Here are the official results:

185 lbs.: Anderson Silva (184.5) vs. Nathan Marquardt (182.5)
155 lbs.: Sean Sherk (154.5) vs. Hermes Franca (154.5)
205 lbs.: Tito Ortiz (205.5) vs. Rashad Evans (204)
Hvywt.: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (240.5) vs. Heath Herring (259)
155 lbs.: Kenny Florian (155.5) vs. Alvin Robinson (156)
205 lbs.: Stephan Bonnar (204.5) vs. Mike Nickels (205.5)
155 lbs.: Jorge Gurgel (155.5) vs. Diego Saraiva (155)
170 lbs.: Chris Lytle (169.5) vs. Jason Gilliam (171)
155 lbs.: Frank Edgar (154.5) vs. Mark Bocek (154.5)

UFC 73 takes place tomorrow, July 7, at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The televised portion of the pay-per-view (PPV) event begins at 10 p.m. EST.

Quick results will begin to flow earlier than that here at UFCmania.com at about 8 p.m. ET with the undercard action. We'll also be live blogging the PPV event, providing round-by-round coverage of the main card fights.

Remember to also check out our pre- and post-fight coverage online with our radio call-in program, "Any Given Saturday," tomorrow night from 8-9 p.m.

See you all then.

Marquardt came in lean and at 182.5. I think he’s as ready as he ever has been. He’s going to need it tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Let the PUNISHMENT / Rashad Evan’s downward spiral begin… Tito via TKO (Rd. 2)!

Tito looked huge compared to Rashad. I think Tito will out muscle Rashad and beat him pretty convincingly.
I love watching weigh ins and re accessing my thoughts on the fights.

Marquardt/Silva will be an absolute war. Intense Stare Down

Does Nate always come in that much under 185? I have never seen his past weigh-ins.

I thought the same thing! He seemed to have a slight limp going up those stairs, hope his knees are fully recovered.

He was 185.5 in January against Lister. Rather big difference.

At least this opponent of Silva made weight!

Tito is still one of the best fighters in the world. Rashad will now get a taste of what it’s like to fight the top guys.

Tito wins by TKO via ground and pound in the 3rd.

I finally found that one. What are your thoughts on the weight difference? I am a little concerned about it.

Cutting weight take a big amount of effort so either Nate acme in at great shape and doesn’t need to put energy into the cut or he just over did it. From what i’v heard he came in looking the best he’s ever been so he’ll be fighting in at his peak performace.

Dana has to give Tito some credit as all the hype is about the Ortiz/Evans fight and not about any of the title fights……..we all know that Evans does not sell a fight on his own but Tito sure does.

Tito will eat “Sugar”

Do those guys completely strip down for the weigh in? Do the ladies in the background get to see Mr Johnson as well?
