I’ve never really seen Chute Boxe matches before. I can see why these guys are succesfull in the UFC and other MMA. They’ve got some wicked strikes that come from all over the place. I just don’t know that I could kick a guy in the head or stomp him when he’s on the ground.

Have to edit myself, I have seen a couple of their guys fight, I just didn’t know they were Chute Boxe. I Wiki’d the team, Current Past and possible Future champs all through the list of current and former team members.

chute box guys are brutal.. chute box should be called headstomp…im sure they will make a fine transition to UFC where thats not allowed since the headstomps they did were usualy just for good measure to make sure the guy didnt want to get up after getting KTFO

Dont know if they will trasition to the UFC 100 %. I think taking away the head kicks and stomps will make them “slightly” less effective.

I would say I like this vid but I think it is punk that guys win by stomping on other guys heads and kicking while a man is down….I am glad the rules are changing….

Yep, totally agree with the consensus here — these guys are awesome, their style is wicked (I think it may be the best style actually) but I absolutely despise head stomps (especially with a hand or two firmly holding onto a rope). Other than that, Chute Boxe rocks.

Yeah I agree, I have never seen the ref stop anybody from holding the ropes while stomping, I guess holding the ropes is illegal, unless of course you are caving somebody’s face in.

Head stomps and knees to a downed opponent make for a much better contest than holding an opponent against a cage and trying to open cuts with your elbows. UFC sucks and they’re going to ruin MMA. Dana White is the Vince McMahon of legitimate fighting; a megalomaniac who controls for fear of losing.

I’m all in for knee’s to a downed opponent but soccer kicks are too much.
