Liddell will be back. He’s got one more great run in him and he’ll be champ again. Liddell made a mistake; everyone makes a mistake. Liddell will beat who ever the Light Heavyweight Champion is to reclaim his crown as top dog at 205 pounds; whether it is Dan Henderson or Rampage.

All that really matters, is that I saw Sokoudjou at Dennys last night.

Man that is good stuff. Where’s the scoop on his next fight? Gotta ask these questions.

I love that Rampage without hesitation says that he’ll fight Chuck again. The guy really is someone who just loves to fight. I worried about that a while back when he first got into UFC, but not now. He and Chuck are a lot alike in that respect.

Shit. He was eating with his girl. I was so busy trying to convince myself it was actually him, I didnt think to ask anything. I was kickin myself for it later though. Tell you the truth, he seemed stolked to be recongnized, cuz ya know he ain’t huge yet with anybody other than teh hardcore fan.
I was waiting to be seated, and told my friend oh crap I know who that is and there all starin. Then he looked over and noticed us and smiled, and my buddy is all “Pride?” haha and Soko jumped up and was all YEAH!! and came over and shook our hands and everything. When we got a picture eveyone was all lookin like who is that? I couldnt believe noboy knew who it was.

I hope Chuck can eventually take the belt back but time is not on his side. Chuck is a power puncher and that is going to be more difficult to maintain as he gets older. He might have to work more knees in too.

yeah he still runs him himself, he ain’t that big yet. But who knows how long that will last at this rate. This fool is gonna blow up big.
I sent a messgae saying lookin forward to your next fight, hopw the Pride/UFC thing (with the contracts and all) aint a hassle.

“I think it might turn out to be a good thing, that will allow us to find out who’s the best fighter in this business… Can’t wait to be matched up with some of the best UFC fighters.”

Rampage.I just love this guys you know what I’m saying??because he is so charismatic……you feel me? It’s just Rampage

Yeh he is pretty cool.

I like the fact that he said ove and over he knew Chuck was tough, he gives Chuck credit. Chuck is the one who was cocky saying it would be over in the first round, and he was right. Im glad he got his attitude knocked back.

“Foot to backside” good strategy.

I love what rampage brings to the table he is a good man that loves his kids. spending time with celbrities n talks a lot of trash. Now that is a true champ./

I have to agree…I did think the “I’ll KO him in the 1st round,” comment by Chuck was a little overconfident/cocky since Rampage beat his ass in 03. But given that he is/was the Champ and has backed those same statements up several times before….I don’t think he was too out of line. I just hope this lights the fire under Chuck. I liked his 1st fight with Tito, his fight with that one lions den dude, his fight with Vitor, and his last 2 fights with Randy were awesome. I would like to see him fighting like that again.

Yeah he said he is looking forward to being matched up with the best in the UFC. Not real literal or specific, but I hope that’s an idication of things to come.

Go Rampage it’s your birthday, we’re going party like it’s your birthday we’re going sip bacardi like it’s your birthday.

Gosh he is so different from your A-typical martial artist, but he still carries a lot of respect for other people and shows it, I really ike that. He also has a great way of looking ignorant towards fighting, like he didn’t have a strategy and awesome technical skills when he knocked out Liddell, foot on ass strategy my ass buddy! Good way to deal with questions like “What’s your plan for beating ______________”.

Great interview.

I heard the Sportscenter interview with Rampage was very, very funny, too. Does anyone know if it’s available online?

There is a big difference between capturing and keeping the Title. The road there is one of hunger and desire. Once there you have all the fame and money that can slowly but truly distract you from what got you to the top. More over you have everyone gunning for you specifically. Studying your every move, strength and weakness. I do want Rampage to send Henderson back down to 185.

arona seemed really slow.

It was later discovered that Arona had Dengue Fever. Then two weeks later he relapsed and was back in intensive care.

Sokoudjou hands are very fast..That was a left that took Nog down..and it was very fast..too bad we couldn’t see that punch from a different angle!
But as i was saying, is Sokoudjou added to the UFC..i’m sure he is, considering the Zuffa officially owns Pride now.

yeah, I like Chuck and he already has a seat in the hall of fame but now the log jam at lightheavyweight is broken up. Especially now with Shogun, Henderson and maybe Silva coming in- things should really be jumping the rest of this year. Now you have a hungrier Chuck looking to get his belt back. It’s easier to be motivated when you are no longer making $500K per fight.

Let’s hope they don’t give him the least path of resistance like theyre doing with Matt Hughes for example. They’ll probably set CL with a return match against Elvis Sinosic & dub it as his 1st stop on his “road back to the title”. Hahahaahaha! Or set him up with a return match against Tito for a “#1 contender slot” lol…ridiculous.

The first mistake Chuck makes in 8 fights and everyone is talking like hes finished,I like Rampage too but he has a long way to go to earn the respect Chuck deserves.

Chucks next fight will be Wandy,Danas not stupid he knows that has got to be next, and I garuntee Chuck KOs him in the first round.

Rampage may well not even make it through one title defence coz his next fight is tough.

I wanna see soko with a descent striker now though. That sucks that Arona was sick for that fight. “Suppsedly” haha his Judo is his background and strenght, but he knocks everybody out before we even get to see that.
