UFC 71: Liddell vs. Jackson event weigh-in details

Official weigh-ins for UFC 71: "Liddell vs. Jackson" are scheduled for 7 p.m. EST (4 p.m. local time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, May 25.
As is the case with all weigh-in events, admission will be free for those fans who want to attend.
For the majority of us poor souls not fortunate enough to be in Sin City next weekend, we can tune into UFC.com and NBCSports.com to catch the streaming video of the event live from our desktops.
We'll call it a small victory — even if it only lasts less than a half-hour.
In addition, ESPN News will also carry the weigh-in LIVE on ESPN television, Friday, May 25 at 7 p.m. EST in the United States and Canada.
Of course, we'll tune-in to the UFC 71 weigh-in and post the results as they happen. The last one that was broadcast in April for UFC 69 had some fireworks with the Diego Sanchez-Josh Koscheck dust up.
There doesn't appear to be a rivalry like that on this card, but the staredown between Iceman and Rampage is something that I personally have been waiting a very long time to see.
At that point, the magnitude of this fight will more than likely sink-in for me. Put simply, it's going to be a doozy.
In addition, Spike television network is set to broadcast "UFC 71 Countdown" on Monday, May 21 to hype the card. Don't stress if you miss the premier — the special will re-air on Thursday, May 24 at 11 p.m. and Friday, May 25 at 11 p.m.

Oh god. I really hope that guy gets tested. I think he is just a tad overratted. Like I have said before, only notable wins against rampage and randleman. Both of whom chuck has also beat. What makes such a phenom everybody makes him out to be?

P.S. If you only look at Chuck’s face in taht picture, dosnt he kinda look like a cute upset crying baby?

By far worth going too. There is usually a small section of the Garden where you can sit and see it all happen live. And if you have shitty seats for the fight, you could actually sit in seats you wouldn’t imagine for the weigh in if you get there early enough. Worth getting there early because several/to many fighters are walking around signing autographs and taking photos. They will sign anything you bring, plus merchandise is always on hand. The fighters are very approachable and autographs are free.

The staredown will be one of the best without girly drama like Sanchez/Koscheck

Yup, and then afterward, just like with WSilva, they’ll go backstage, have a sandwich together, and get caught up. No real animosity here.
