Dan Henderson with 3 belts in 2 different weight classes? Assuming they don’t unify the Pride and UFC belts.

“crocop vs. gonzaga rematch would be great…prob wont happen but i would like to see..”
Just to point something out – since Couture Vs Gonzaga is looking like the 74 main event (Aug25th) that is very unlikely. I’m happy to see 75 carry a title fight as 70 didn’t and 72 won’t…very similar line-up to 70 so far, I’m going to be there :D

Putting Rampage and Hendo on this card is a braindead move by the UFC. I can gaurantee that both would rather fight in the US

A CC Arlovski fight would make so much sense in every different levels for so many reasons:
1. Arlovski was promised a title shot after Couture/Gonzaga but was ultimately taken away after Arlovski fought a boring fight in UFC 70. This gives Arlovski an opportunity to right all the errors of that fight and legitimize himself once again as a contender if he wins.
2. Arlovski would be the biggest name Cro Cop will face in the UFC if it was booked. It also legitimizes Cro Cop if he beats Arlovski as truly a top tier heavyweight who can succeed in a ring and the Octagon.
3. Neither fighter can have a boring fight against the other as they are both know to pour on a lot of strikes, something that Dana White and UFC fans in general love to see.
4. Both are scheduled to fight around that time period anyway as they have over 4 months rest.
5. No other legitmate Heavyweights are avalible to fight around that time except Fabricio Werdum who just fought Arlovski (which won’t happen again) and is Cro Cop’s training partner (which won’t make CC or Werdum happy considering the amount of competition thats avalible for both of them in the UFC). Unless Dana Wants to give cans for AA and CC to kick around, why not book that match and make everyone happy?
Only reason I don’t see it happening is that Arlovski/Cro Cop is bankable as a main card fight, and Dana wants to milk it for all its worth. Then again, Dana can be that greedy and it won’t surprise me if he pulled that off.

Not likely, considering Cro Cop, Bisping and now Rampage/Henderson on that card? Dana White is not THAT charitable.
Wandy/Liddell will happen in ufc 76 or maybe later. That fight can headline any PPV.

Yes my friend, but watch:AA vs Vera for title shot is what will transpire.
Whoever makes the matches (ROgan?) is dumb for not having 2 undefeted fighters match up for ufc 75 (bisbing VS. evans).
I want evans to beat TO, but don’t think he will.

i agree put AA vs Cro Cop but i think it’ll be Vera vs AA…give AA a chance to prove himself or fight not to lose again

205 lbs.: Michael Bisping (13-0) vs. Matt Hamill (3-0)*
I’d pay to see this one go down, since there was a bit of friction between Bisping & Hamill during the TUF series.

bisping vs hamill stupid fight ill be boring dana white needs to grow some balls and get his poster boy some real competition is going to be a draw bisping

Joe Rogan is doing two stand up shows before the fight in London – I can’t wait!
If you like comics like Doug Stanhope and Bill Hicks, Joe should be right up your street!
Loads of the fighters turned up to watch him in Manchester and Belfast, should be an awesome couple of shows.

someone had mentioned bisping and babalu, that would be a good fight, also vera vs. anybody,,, where the hell has vera been anyway?? i hope Mir got in shape for his fight coming up, he looked like s#&t when we last seen him. Rampage belongs in the cage..
by jason on Jul 21, 2007 7:37 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
after bisping ko’s hamill i would hope they set up a chuck bisping fight for #1 contender. That would be an absolute war.

Why do people think that AA could knock out CC? Remember what happened to AA against that talentless, goofy, uncoordinated scrub Tim Sylvia? And you guys wanna put my boy AA in front of a real striker? Poor Andrea will be taken out on a stretcher and i dont want to see AA go out like that.
For all those people on this forum that think CC needs to beat AA or any other UFC fighter to prove that he is one of the best in the world are totally wrong. He has already proven himself and if you dont beleive me watch his fight in Pride. And remember there are other organizations besides UFC. Can you be an expert in the world of MMA and have only watch UFC fights?

i hope jackson dont lose the ufc belt to pride . cro cop wins i hope and i think that bisbing will win over hamill he’s a champ in the making this is shaping up to be a great fight card and its on free tv the only thing that would make this card better if it where in north carolina ( i think the ufc needs to start having some fights in the deep south NC )

I like that it’s free but only 4 fights? Sheesh.

Did somebody mention AA/Vera for #1 contender?! What is your logic? AA is already out of Joe Silva and Dana’s good graces and Vera just came from more than a year’s hiatus. This fight would be an undercard at best. Please don’t just post the first thought that come to your head.
What I would like to see is AA against another striker. AA/Herring would be fireworks also the obvious AA/Crocop would be very entertaining as well. I know a lot of people would count AA to lose against CC but I think he has a pretty good chance. CC has been knocked out by strikers less talented than AA before like Kevin Randleman. It just takes the right strike at the right time at the right spot, and anybody can be knocked out.
