Programming reminder: UFC 69 Countdown, All Access with GSP and Couture on The Late, Late Show tonight
And so it begins ...
Spike television will begin to prepare us for all the action this Thursday and Saturday with "90 minutes of hard-hitting previews, interviews, and behind the scenes footage," beginning tonight at 10 p.m. EST.
According to UFC.com, "Countdown to UFC 69" and "UFC All Access" with welterweight titleholder Georges St. Pierre will air back-to-back tonight on the cable channel.
Here's a snip:
"The action begins at 10pm with Countdown to UFC 69, an in-depth one hour look at the welterweight title bout between Georges St-Pierre and Matt Serra, as well a preview of the 170-pound clash which pits Diego Sanchez against Josh Koscheck.
Next up at 11pm is UFC All Access with UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, a 30 minute glimpse into the life of the UFC's newest superstar, hosted by Rachelle Leah."
And if that isn't enough, channel surf over to CBS and check out UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture on "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" at 12:35 a.m. EST. According to the UFC.com homepage, Couture will talk about his return to the Octagon, share some thoughts on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 5, and discuss UFC Fight Night 9 and UFC69.
Certainly, it's not going to be a night of breaking news, but is should be entertaining nonetheless.

Who better to speak on behalf of the UFC than Randy Couture? I’d like people to still call mma televised “bar-fights” after hearing him talk about what the sport is really about.

Not sure. But I’m hearing now that it is Friday night. Seems like UFC.com had the wrong info — don’t shoot the messenger! Sorry to make you stay up late ….

ahh gotcha. Thanks for the update. Not a problem, I’m practically nocturnal anyway. And staying up late is a good thing too, otherwise I wouldn’t have enough time to read the comments all the clowns post on this site.
