Video: Randy Couture on FOX News Cavuto show

UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture appeared on "Your World with Neil Cavuto" yesterday on the FOX News cable channel.
To watch the clip click here.
Cavuto comes off as uneducated on the sport, stating that there are "no rules," and serves up some other amateur remarks.
As usual, "The Natural" handled himself well -- that is, of course, when Cavuto wan't talking over him or cutting him off.

It’s good to see Randy getting alot of media play, he’s such a great ambassador for the sport, he’s an enormous assest in the fight for mainstream acceptance.

I just wish the UFC could get on another news(my ass)channel.Fox is full of uptight, lying ,bigots. The Natural always comes across good in interviews.Always respectful, which is why alot of fans love him.I hate to say it but i don’t think he can beat mirko cro cop.Tim silvia is one thing.Cro cop is up there with liddell and fedor as far as active fighters go.

Randy is wearing a different shirt because the last time i saw him in an interview he was a black T-shirt.

Well if they went on CNN they would have to have a hippy like Monson go on.Do you really think liberal channels want to be associated with fighting sports? All politicians lie…remember that …and all news stations spin the news in whatever direction they support

I agree all politicians lie and i understand the UFC is huge in red states so it is good business for them to show up do shows for that propaganda network.I don’t like cnn either. But to compare cnn to a liberal news station is a joke.(Glenn Beck huge asshole)I’m just glad that there are websites like this and you tube that let you watch the interviews without exposing you to the brain washing and wingnut mentality.Sorry, got off subject of site so i’ll close by saying The UFC rocks and i want to see Lidell Cro Cop BAD.What a PPV payoff that will be.

Link didnt work either for me. Well, it seems to half-load, then just stop. Could be me, but I’ll go search for it and come back.

Randy is the man! Its nice to see someone representing mma thats intelligent and well spoken. A lot of people have been seriously injured and killed in boxing, something a lot of people against mma don’t seem to get. mma stops a fight any time a fighter can’t intelligently defend himself, the poor boxer only has to get up inside a ten count only to get more brain damage. I used to like boxing more but I can’t even watch it now after getting into mma.

Leaving out the fact that Fox “News” is GOP propaganda, which is irrelevant to the UFC, it’s great for the UFC to get exposure to a wider market. But why isn’t the host prepared and asking good questions?
Monson a hippy…I thought they had long hair. He has no hair. And I’m sure you’re saying that to his face.
Couture, can’t wait for him to fight Cro Cop. He might be the underdog but he’s my pick. After that, maybe Arlovski will get his shot at him.
