UFC.com recently confirmed UFC Fight Night 9 for April 5 and announced that tickets will go on sale February 22.

A lightweight showdown between Joe Stevenson and Melvin Guillard will headline the card, which will be held at "The Pearl" in The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada -- the first-ever UFC event to be held at the Maloof-owned venue.

Here's a snip from UFC President Dana White:

"We are pleased to be working with the Maloofs to bring the most exciting live combat sport in the world – the UFC – to The Palms in Las Vegas. I am very excited about this partnership, the property fits perfectly with the UFC demographic, and I look forward to holding a series of UFC events inside the state-of-the-art venue The Pearl."
