UFC 67 televised line up set
The television and preliminary lineups for UFC 67 on February 3 are set, according to WrestlingObserver.com.
Here's what most of us will see (in order):
--Patrick Cote vs. Scott Smith
--Marvin Eastman vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
--Eddie Sanchez vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
--John Halverson vs. Roger Huerta
--Anderson Silva vs. Travis Lutter
Here's what fans at the Mandalay Bay will see first:
--Diego Saraieva vs. Dustin Hazelett
--Frank Edgar vs. Tyson Griffin
--Terry Martin vs. Jorge Rivera
--Sam Hoger vs. Lyoto Machida
According to the report, the third and fourth fights could be reversed if the first two matches don't go the distance.
Nothing too shocking here, other than the near-top billing for the Huerta-Halverson fight (swing bout).
Zuffa and the UFC brass must like Huerta a lot to give him this type of exposure on a card with so many superstars, including recent free agent signing Lyoto Machida.
Let's see if he lives up to expectations.
(For the record, I'd much rather see the Griffin-Edgar fight. Griffin is a beast at 155.)
