UFC 68: Martin Kampmann vs. Drew McFedries?

Stay connected for news and updates

A middleweight bout between Martin Kampmann (14-2) and Drew McFedries (5-1) is tentatively scheduled for the UFC 68 undercard, according to MMAWeekly.com.

Kampmann made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 6, submitting Crafton Wallace (12-3-1) via rear naked choke in round one. The "Hitman" — who hails from Denmark but fights out of Las Vegas — then went on to unanimously outpoint Thales Leites (9-1) at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 4 Finale this past November.

His opponent, McFedries, is a Miletich Fighting Systems pupil with one UFC victory under his belt — a submission victory over Alessio Sakara (10-5) at UFC 65 via strikes in a light heavyweight match up.

According to UFC.com, McFedries also moonlights at Scotty's Auction Service, "doing everything that could be done, from moving furniture, working on cars, or just working in the office."

Sounds like fun.

I think this should be an exciting — albeit short — undercard bout if it turns out to be officially announced. Both guys like to slug it out, which means that it'll probably end early for one of them.
