The scheduled light heavyweight bout between Seth Petruzelli (5-3) and Hector Ramirez (6-2-1) at UFC Fight Night 8 is off.

Here's a snip from a Petruzelli MySpace bulletin:

het guys...the guy i was supposed to fight for the ufc this month just pulled out...ill let you all know more when i do.

According to MMAWeekly.com, Ramirez had to pull out because of an ankle injury sustained during training.

With the event just two weeks away, it's not known whether or not a last-minute replacement will be brought in to challenge the former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season two contestant or the card will just feature eight fights.
