With his visa issues apparently settled, the dynamic light heavyweight from Liverpool, England – Michael "The Count" Bisping – will finally make his official Octagon debut since winning season three of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) at UFC 66: "Liddell vs. Ortiz 2" on December 30.
Feel free to check out the event's official Web site right here.
His opponent will remain Eric "Ravishing Red" Schafer, who he was originally scheduled to fight on November 11 at the finale of TUF 4.
Nice nickname, Eric.
Anywho, this is yet another fantastic addition to a fantastic card.
In other news, reports that middleweight David Terrell has pulled out of his fight against Yushin Okami at UFC 66 because of an injured elbow are accurate. This marks the third time Terrell has withdrawn from a fight in his UFC career.
TUF 3 alumnus Rory "Outburst" Singer has agreed to fill in for Terrell, providing the Japanese talent with a so-so test in his quest to work his way up the middleweight ranks.
