I must say that as a Canadian I hope that this fight does make it to Montreal! Not sure if it will happen as it appears the UFC has pulled out for April. In the event that Georges St.Pierre makes a recovery it looks as though the Serra fight wilL be in April. I just have to ask does anybody know why the UFC is not putting Matt Hughes against Diego in March. I mean I know why and I think its stupid. Enough building up Diego and dont Hughes a fight he can win just to carry him. He always used to yap about being a competitor and will fight anybody anytime. Yet he refussess to fight G.S.P in the near future for fear of his job… sory that is disapointing for a guy dubed the greates welerweight of all time.

i hate matt hughes. he is all talk and should have lost to BJ. if BJ’s cardio would have been better he would have. i hope he loses every fight in the future. he is a cocky bitch and has no reason to be. he needs to shave his ugly ass chest too.

Can’t lie and say I am really excited that the UFC is coming to Texas and Houston of all places… but the card is looking kind of weak. I really hope Cro Cop gets added to the card or some type of name.

I have been watching St Pierre closely for a long time and like a few others, thought that he was going to rule the division. The way he recovered after his loss to Hughes at 50 made my mind up totally. From the day he whupped Trigg in such style, it was obvious he was going to be the No1 welter in the world. Hughes has had his day and he needs to fight Sanchez to prove that he is even No1 contender material. GSP is looking unbeatable right now. I want someone to kick Joe Stevensons ass, the guy is a little p*ick. “Daddy”??? He doesn’t look old enough to produce sperm yet.

GSP and Rampage all the way in 07 baby!!!!

Im am excited that UFC is comming to Houston, but the card so far is very weak. We all know that GSP will dominate Mini Me Serra, who somehow the judge’s say beat Chris Lytle in the Tuf 4 Finale. I call BS on that. GSP vs Lytle would have been a better match up. Besides the kos and Sanchez match up what else is there to look foward to ? Kos keeps running his mouth that he will beat Sanchez because no one works harder than him. Sanchez will beat him once again, and when he does its about time to put up a Hughes vs Sanchez match. Heath Herring on the card is a joke after his horrible perfomance at fight night 8. UFC is gonna have to get another Main event for this card. UFC 68 is a star studded ppv, and looks like UFC 70 is already hitting some prime talent with Cro Cop fighting and Arlovski on the card

I admit this card is not the greatest, but it is good that we can finally get the goddamn GSP VS SERRA Fight over with so GSP can move on to bigger and better things. Swick and Okami will be a brawl. Sanchez and Kos will be a good fight as well. Kos has been running his mouth, and Sanchez always puts on a great show. Everyone in Colorado hypese Alvin Robinson up, and Roger Huerta goes out for the kill. I am satisified with all these fights. Kendall Grove is borring as hell to watch and I think Heath Herring should have been fired after his last fight.

I think that the Herring Fight with Imes will be pretty good. The only reason Herring sucked is because he is not a ground guy at all. UFC will not put him in another match with a ground guy for a while. They will both stand and beat the hell out of eachother i think. I am going to 69 and i believe it is a pretty nice card compared to what i thought it was going to be a month ago

I HATE MATT HUGHES TOO! holy shit does that man bother me. he’s got the demeanor and attitude of a brat little kid, and his gameplan consists of laying on ppl doin just enough to stay on the ground and “grind it out”

I also agree that theres NO REASON WHAT SO EVER matt hughes shouldnt be fighting sanchez – both regarded as top contender.

BUT NO, the lame ass ufc match maker Joe Silva, puts hughes against lytle to see if he’s stilly worthy of a title shot? what sense does that make?

I love the ufc dont get me wrong, but if i dont see hughes vs. (winner of sanchez-koscheck) before GAY ASS hughes gets a title shot, ill be a FIRM believer that the UFC protects their “stars”

By the way hughes… haha wishfull thinking that he will read this- it wasnt GODs plan that knocked you the fuck out in November, it was GSPs left foot to tha’ DOME and subsequent elbows that did.

Money talks and Bull Sh*t walks! Diego vs. Matt should happen next. I think it was smart of Diego to wait to fight Matt for two reasons.
#1. Diego has one more fight on his contract (so when he fights Matt he will get paid! Why fight a fighter like Matt for peanuts?)
#2. Diego finally gets the chance to shut Kos’ mouth once and for all.

Now if the UFC gives Matt a shot with St Pierre instead of having to fight Diego, than that is bull sh*t! St. Pierre vs. Serra is going to be a dud, but hey why not give GSP a tune up for this fall vs. Sanchez…oh it will happen! 505! Diego “The Nightmare” Sanchez

People are sick of Hughes’ big game talk as they are Silvia’s fighting, but at least Hughes isn’t the champ anymore. Come on, Couture!

Only fight worth a piss is Okami v Mike “Underbite” Swick. Should be a great one. I really cant make up my mind if Swick is any good, or just another TUF blowup doll.

Hey, looks as if Diego can’t even hit his opponent as we saw that he lost a fight that he did not even fight on 4/7/07. The UFC should have a no “fight rule” to avoid shadow boxing and continuous stalling. Canada deserves a venue for sure as some real talent is being put together up there.
