Looks like 67 should shape out to be a pretty good card.
Franklin is rumored to actually fight Jason McDonald in UFC 68. Recent winner over Chris Leben. Says so at Sherdog.com.
Honestly I think Swick has done enough to garner a bout with the winner of silva or lutter. Swick after all is 5-0 in the UFC.
With the acquisitions of WFA contracts the plot thickens for a lot of fighters in the UFC. Guys like Heath Herring, Jason Miller, and Ryoto Machida are gonna blow the doors off some people. Miller is the only one of those three who has UFC experience with a loss to GSP in a 3rnd decision. Despite the loss (which by the way look at the guys who have gona 3 rnds w/ GSP, not many) he is a phenom on the ground. You’ll see.
And speaking of crazy good fighters, Machida is probably the least known amongst fans, but the MMA world surely is aware of him. This guy has wins over Vernon White, Stephan Bonner, BJ Penn, and KO on Rick Franklin. Oh, and he’s undefeated and rumored to fight Sam Hoger in 67. I wonder if Bonner has any advice.
Overall 2007 is gonna be dandy year for MMA fans. The one great thing about Dana White is that he will do anything to put the best fighters on earth in the Octogon. Can’t wait.

jackson is way overrated, but he will prob beat eastman but not liddell, liddell would knock out wanderlai too, the only one who can challenge him at 205 is shogun

Frank Edgar is a beast that runs on High Test. Griffin better stop at the local Exxon and gas up before stepping in the ring. If not, he going to go home as an exposed fighter with little wrestling ability, no gas, no submissions… just a mediocre fighter who can punch. Also, if eating Spanish food until get balloons up to 190llbs is good for his body, then when he hits 12th minute of the match, he’ll know never to do it again.

i think spectators need to stop smokin bj penns pole and give our man sherk some props, i mean the man does have belt around his waste and quite frankly he earned it. to many people just think that sherk is a great wrestler, which he is but dont forget the man is a pro boxer and yes his arms are short and stubby, but he can throw them bad boys and i dont know if penn fighting at 155 can handle him?

Chuck liddel fought quinton jackson with a torn ACL MoFio…. i dont know if uve ever done any kinda grappling kid… but a torn ACL will completley take away your shot… and more importantly in that fight, his sprawl… so no duh chuck couldnt beat him in pride… he couldnt stop the take down, and having a torn ACL also strongly effects your striking… you might wanna calm down with the chuck bashing cause in about 3 or 4 UFCs u might have to eat them words ur bashin the ice man with.
OUCH?

If you watch the fight between jackson and chuck you’ll see that chuck was worn out and beaten on his feet mostly. jackson landing numerous overhand rights. rampage didn’t even try to take him down until late in the fight when it was obvious to him that chuck was too tired to defend it or the gnp following the take down.

Heath Herring is a joke. Sure he was fun to watch in pride, but dude! Have you ever sprawled? Have you ever heard of covering your chin?
Jake O’Brien may as well have been fighting one of those inflatable clowns.
I was at UFC 67 and it was awesome. Every fight – except Scott Smith and Patrick Cote. Damn weak performance by both fighters. I think had it not been for one take down and a couple of big flurries on the feet by cote, that could have easily been a draw – with both ‘men’ losing.
The Rampage fight got off to a slow start, but he was great to watch. Mirko was like a lion stalking – i’d be terrified if i was dirty eddie sanchez. glad ufc brought both of those guys in.
