St. Pierre to fight Hughes ... again
Georges St. Pierre has earned a chance to avenge his October 2004 defeat at the hands of UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes.
The 170-pound Canadian product suffered a demoralizing loss to Hughes by armbar submission in "UFC 50: The War of 04" with only one second remaining in the first round.
St. Pierre has since fought his way back to the top, rattling off a string of impressive wins against the likes of Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk and BJ Penn, among others.
According to a recent article, there is no date yet for the title fight, but the St. Pierre camp expects it to happen in early September.
Good luck GSP.
